Alliances do not 'break up' for lack of a state visit. There are usually geo-political reasons that go far beyond what any state visit can overcome. There is no reason to go. There are other methods of communications in the modern world that would suffice.

 

Then why visit France or UK or even shitholes like Poland?

 

You don't have to visit a country in order to cooperate, nor do you have to visit a country just to show you care. Relations between nations are relative, and the US likes the UK a whole lot more than they do Germany. You can cooperate perfectly fine through diplomats, and we have the internet of which things can be done instantly if need be.

To a lot of people, Germany is just another European country with a Pro-EU leader, whereas the UK have a clear presence on the global stage. Not just through their diplomacy, but also their standing army and navy, of which is one of the best in the world.

Sorry to be the bearer of non-issue news, but there you have it. Germany just isn't important to a lot of nations across the world.

e) Work on diplomacy
f) Get over the fact that Europe won't ever be united under one flag. Hitler tried and failed in this regard

h) Be consistent in the enforcement of the law. Doesn't matter who or what someone is. Protect your own countrymen first and foremost
