SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER’S “HATE GROUP” LABEL IS FALSE PROPAGANDA

And the SPLC is highly selective in who it seeks to “destroy.” While the SPLC’s original focus was on racial hate groups that promote or engage in violence, it has now included nonviolent, peaceful individuals or groups based on ideological disagreement.. As Potok admitted in an interview, “Our criteria for a 'hate group,' first of all, have nothing to do with criminality or violence or any kind of guess we're making about 'this group could be dangerous.' The article goes on about the SPLC going way off from its original mission. It described how the false hate labels affect targeted groups and how the affected groups are fighting back. It talks of other organizations using the SPLC hate labels as their own for their own purposes. It talks of the danger of this as it has enabled domestic terrorism of individuals acting on that label like the Family Reaearch Council whom Corkins attacked intending to kill as many as he could and stuff Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in his intended corpses mouths. The FBI quit using the SPLC as a source after that. The bottom line is that it is the SPLC that is a terrorist enabling hate group.

 

They even labeled MGTOW.

The SPLC is a true hate group. They maliciously defame, libel, and slander upstanding conservative political and Christian organizations that are totally peaceful and civil entirely over ideological disagreement and sadly too many still use those lies for their own purposes.

I wish that were true. Sadly it isn’t as various internet and charity rating sites use the vile SPLC labeling. A lot of the groups targeted for destruction by the SPLC have begun filing lawsuits for defamation against groups that use the SPLC rating to harm them. That ridiculous so called fact checking site, Media Bias Fact Checkers automatically list all literal Bible believing socially conservative Christian organizations as hate groups because the SPLC does.

I wait for the day that someone sues the SPLC into oblivion. It uses the word 'poverty', when in fact it contributes not a DIME to impoverished causes. Not a SINGLE dime. If it's sued into oblivion, never to be heard from again it would be great justice.

 

....apart from legal services which are provided for free - which is the raison d'etre for SPLC.

 

We have public defenders, who do the SAME exact thing. If someone took over the SPLC tomorrow, and turned it into a charity fundraising organization, it would actually live up to its name.

One aim of the SPLC is to allow poor(er) individuals the same access to the legal process that better off people like I have - it seems to fulfil that brief. Their wider advocacy work they undertake is a extension of that.

When that article came out, I went to their website to see what they considered a hate group. They even include small government groups such as the constitution party and groups they consider militia groups such as the oath keepers.

I'm sure that there are, but your argument was that the SPLC wasn't providing a dime to impoverished causes. It may not provide cash, but many charities don't (the one Mrs Don is treasurer and trustee for is one, instead they provide services funded by donations), but they do provide legal services. There may be other sources for those legal services but then again there are plenty of other cases where different charities provide similar support.

 

Actually a public defenders office represents people charged with crimes, because you have a constitutional right to legal representation when there is a the possibility of jail time. They don't, nor do you have the same right in non-criminal cases. The SPLC is simply a legal aid group for people that can't afford people in civil litigation, specifically dealing with Civil Rights

 

Sounds like they have a bone and a target picked in advance, then go looking for someone they can use as the legal basis to do it.
The tort lawyers do this all the time- promoting people to use as victims in order to extort money from drug and medical manufacturers. I

n this case, the prize is political in nature. Not saying they can't serve a just purpose, but it's more likely in this form that they serve their own objectives rather than those of the portrayed victim. Most of the time, the practice and use of law is about money and power, not justice. Of course, you need a pawn to create the illusion of just cause.

SPLC used to be reputable back in the day, but when they devolved into a propaganda arm of the Democrats(along with MSM), they lost all credibility. They are the go-to outfit for what's considered a "hate group" and what's not. They have a $300 million endowment from corporations. They just paid out a $3.4 million settlement and had to publicly apologize to Maajid Nawaz whom it had falsely accused of being an antiMuslim extremist. The Star Ledger in NJ published an editorial about the evilness of NJ ICE spokesman Emilio Dabul based on liesthe SPLC told them. They said he has "links" to antiMuslim fanatics, even though the Ledger said they could find no such bias. I think I smell another lawsuit.
