That is simply not true. There are a number of people who are allowed to marry who cannot get procreate. Marriage law does not require procreation whatsoever. If you are so certain, show me in the law where procreation is a requirement for marriage.

Abolishing the marriage license would not abolish marriage. People would still get married in their churches or write legal contracts if not religious as always. Marriage as an institution existed long before the creation of a marriage license. It makes no sense to assume that removing the marriage license = nobody gets married. Would you agree that getting rid of government welfare for the poor = nobody will give money to help the poor? If not, then you should be consistent and apply that to marriage. We don't need to government to form relationships.

 

The argument against interracial marriage: If you are black you still have the same rights as a white person. You just have to marry someone of the same race.
