The Trump train is still heading in the right direction, regardless whether there is a slight reduction in speed from a Democrat donkey that got run over crossing the track.

The last time we had a Democratic House, Fannie and Freddie collapsed and we were in a depression. Here's hoping they learned from that.

Van Jones disbelief and despair was epic ... at around 6:30 pm ... "hearbreaking" :heartbreaker: is how he described early results.
Then 'bout 11:30 pm Van's "heart was restored" ... or his prescription refilled at least. :roflol: Some time in early 2019 Van might finally get a peek at Trump's taxes. For (D)'s that'll have to be enough from the lame duck house. GOP senate +3.

That was one thing I said about the Clinton admin. He was fighting with Congress so much that they didn't have time to screw over the public. ;-)

As opposed to the returns that showed he stole over $100,000 dollars from one of his charities to pay a personal local government fine imposed on his private property?

And so you have won - I congratulate my fella PF Liberals on the win of epic proportions - an exuberant you all should be and deservingly so. Now, the Democrats have the power to investigate president Trump for the next 2 years, stifle economic growth, deny the president his economic agenda, show Kim how the diplomacy should be done, send another $100blt to Ayatollahs and put forth any number of tax increase bills which, of course, will go nowhere since Dems will never have the chance to override president's veto.

To put things into perspective, every candidate that Trump campaigned for, won, and every candidate that have chosen not to have the president campaign for him, lost (or just about). The loss of the House is definitely attributed to these 35 or so incumbent Republicans who jumped Trump ship too early and decided not to run again. dick Clinton lost over 50 house seats during his first mid-term, Obamster managed to lose over 60; Trump has barely lost what? 20? but he increased the Senate Republican hold which is what is important - come on Ruth... time to retire!!!

On the plus side, we will now see the endless parade of Dian F, Nancy P, the pencilneck and, of course, Maxine W. oh... I can never get enough of Maxine - she's the best and the brightest you Liberals have!

Tis is gonna be fun 2 years, watching Liberals investigating Trump, ruining US economy and our standing in the World and opposing Trump in everything he does. Oh... I can't wait for the Democrat primaries and Pocahontas debating Spartacus... what a fun it'll be :applause:

Yeah, the trumpettes here are correct, Dirty Donnie and his Republican thugs are MUCH better off with Democrats in control of the House.
Why did they even run any campaigns ?

Happy days are here again !

Stinks. Totally non-representative of the American people. We'll just have to work on that.

Meanwhile, let the investigations being ! House oversight on absolutely every crooked Republican going back to the beginning of Dirty Donnie's life.
I think I'll buy more memory for my DVR.

No it it isn't. If Dems are willing to legislate, we can get Trump's infrastructure and inner city renewal parts of his agenda done over Dems two years in majority. If Dems are unwilling to legislate and only want to try to divide the country with these insane investigations then they will be publicly flogged for two years before being sent back into minority status.

We are sick of your devisiveness
We are sick of your mob attacks and lawlessness
We are sick of your misuse of government power to harass under the guise of investigation and background check
We are sick of your anti-Semitism and racism

You been given a brief opportunity to govern for the benefit of the American People. We'll see if you are smart enough to work for the American People rather than declaring your hatred for all of them who are unlike yourselves.

Speaker Ryan and his posse were fairly worthless, the GOP needs a few years to build new leadership.

Everything on your list of sicknesses is typical of Republicans and Dirty Donnie. It's like a list of standard procedures for them.
Throw Dirty Donnie and your far-right fanatics out and we can talk. Continue and I'll be happy to keep voting Democrat to throw your swamp rats in jail.

There won't be any money available after the new year to be spent on infrastructure (the cut in company tax will begin to bite). The GOP should have won practically all seats given the bribe to voters (personal tax cuts) and supposedly how well the economy is going. To lose in those favorable conditions is a pointer that the Dems will win the next Presidential elections.

Someone needs to suggest to Tapper that he come to Colorado. Yesterday was an unmitigated DISASTER here for anyone who isn't a foaming-at-the-mouth, radical Democrat.

Our election catastrophe here was almost the inevitable result of Colorado being inundated with wave after wave of migration from California for the past 25 years. It's a disease that is engulfing the entire United States, one state at a time....

It was not a blue wave but the House was the biggest prize of the night.

Trump is basically a lame duck president.

Trump wil need Democrat help if he ever wants to pass another major legislative bill.

Sorry Don. No money for your Trump wall.

The Dems needed to keep the Senate close enough to be able to take the Senate back in 2020.

    That didn't happen..

Even if Trump loses, the Dem President will have to deal with an obstructionist GOP Senate.

The Dems needed no worse than 48-52. Didn't happen.
