I saw your politics on display. I am not fooled. And even you admit IPCC answers to governments. Part of the political system.

Sea ice extents are an important metric because that is what modulates albedo. Less extent means less albedo thus leading to more warming.

Frankly the day they tell me the clouds are vanishing is the day I get alarmed. The day there is no water vapor I shall panic right with you. Alarmists run around in a state of fear is my observation.

And after me showing a post that the MELTED ICE (you know the stuff that turns to water) has caused a rise in sea level

Learn to read where does it say the ice is calving? And IF it were do you not think we might notice more icebergs floating about?

No but the very fact there is. Disagreement at times amongst the scientist demonstrates the robustness of the science

Oh! And thanks for the hyperbole and the strawman

Yeah it's very robust. That's why NY went underwater 10 years ago.

They must have been some carbon producing fools in 1000 AD.

No, I'm sorry. That is not correct. Right now, as of January 3rd, 2019, Antarctic sea ice extent is 4.89e6 km^2. On that date In 2008 and 2010 it was 8.62e6 and 6.81e6 respectively. There is quite literally 40% less ice today than in 2008. The Antarctic minimum extent record was set in 2017. 2018 was not far behind it though.

The link you provided is mainly in reference to the Arctic (NH) region and not the Antarctic (SH) region. The link I gave you has both NH and SH data. You should take a look at it. It's provided by the same institution as the link you posted here.

A lot of CO2 was being released into the atmosphere at this time. Interesting isn't it? That is CO2 caused warming in the past just like it does today because man-made CO2 molecules behave exactly like nature-made molecules.
