Super misrepresentation of the article, and Wednesday's event where EPA Administrator Michael Regan's announcement will be presented.

The announcement concerns “EPA’s work to address climate change, improve air quality and protect public health,” according to the invite, which POLITICO’s E&E News reviewed.

Sure sounds different than what you described. Perhaps you should research your articles better next time.

The EPA can't do shed about climate change all the exist for is finding corporate cronies and absorbing money.

Government does not help you it is not good for people it is not good for the environment it is not good for the planet. It is a necessary evil. That needs to be brought to heel. Not allowed to make Draconian laws to **** of her poor people and line a bunch of people's pockets in the process.

That's your expertise in automotive speaking again, right?

So you're all in on what they're selling without understanding any of it, right?

    That's OK, June's coming.

Let's put it this way. I'm not into Chevron, and their polluting of our cities and their oil refineries which create more toxic waste than just about any other industry. CO2 is just one issue. But go ahead, cheer them on.

    What you're into is irrelevant.

And if I'm right, so's CO2 and "climate change".

It's not irrelevant. The case you're talking about is being brought forward by big oil lobbyists, with heavy funding from the Koch Brothers. They are running similar anti-environmental cases around the country (wind turbines, fear-of-China and Communist plots, etc.). I am not going to be a puppet of the Koch Brothers.

You could try some research some time.

The case I'm talking about is brought by a fishery in New England that is being forced to pay the salaries of regulators that ride on their boats. The hearing in January was pretty funny when the fishery was asked point blank if they objected to regulators riding along. "No, we don't want to pay their salaries. They're welcome on our boats whenever they want."

The whole thing is the biggest fraud in our history (that's a tough mantle to earn) and will likely go down as the most significant Supreme Court ruling ever. And it will reestablish our countries founding as a Constitutional Republic and a nation of laws.

Now it can always be negated by properly amending the Clean Air Act. But that will require 60 votes in the Senate (and 218 in the House). But then you'd have to ask, "why didn't progressives just do that in the first place and avoid all this nonsense?"

    Good question. Why didn't they?

The only answer to that is that they're just gutless turds all too willing to lie and cheat rather than defend their totalitarian aims in an open debate forum.

But y'all keep on blaming the Koch Brothers. There's nothing you and your leftist friends can do about it.

Say what you want. The case is about big oil and big money being able to do whatever they want. IF SCOTUS votes for this, it will be just like Roe/Wade. Certain citizens will pay the price. Big oil and fracking companies will be able to do whatever they want, and scientific experts won't be allowed to intervene. Just don't complain later, when natural gas starts coming out of your faucet, and you can do nothing about it. The Constitution is supposed to be a document for citizens of the US, not Corporations of the US. Corporation have tried and tried to shift that narrative.

"The real purpose of it is to enfeeble the federal government so that we don't have the capacity to deal with modern problems, and the billionaires and big companies can just do what they want and not be checked," Doniger said.

NPR, a thoroughly predictable cite. Between nonsense like this and the persecutions of folks like Trump and Clarence Thomas, the left is just showing how scared they are that the jig is up and nobody seems to care.

Well, tough nuts. Y'all shouldn't have gotten greedy and declared CO2 a regulatable "pollutant" and moved to force people into technically inferior EVs.

    Cry me a river.

Ironically, Jefferson's Party was called the Democratic Republican Party:

    https://www.thenation.com/article/archive/thomas-jefferson-feared-aristocracy-corporations/

Thomas Jefferson Feared an Aristocracy of Corporations

In the early years of the 19th century, as banks and corporations began to flex their political muscles, he announced that: “I hope we shall crush… in its birth the aristocracy of our moneyed corporations, which dare already to challenge our government to a trial of strength and bid defiance to the laws of our country.”
    ...
But he sent a message — his last political statement — which read:
    ...
So, yes, by all means, let us look to the original intent of the founders this July 4. But let us recognize what they actually said and meant about the danger posed by an “aristocracy of corporations” and the danger of allowing CEOs to ride roughshod over the democratic promise of the American experiment.

We should all fear the tyranny of experts. That is what we are seeing with the bogus enhanced CO2 effect hypothesis which is easily disproven by application of the scientific method.

"Most popular gas-powered pickups emit about 430 grams of CO2 per mile. Under EPA’s final rule, trucks will have to average 184 g/mile in 2027, 128 g/mile in 2030 and 90 g/mile by 2032. Ergo, the companies will effectively have to produce one to two electric trucks for every gas-powered one in 2027. The ratio will be closer to four to one by 2032."

That's certainly correct, but what gets me is that not even these folks, as well meaning as they are, don't seem to get the fundamental physics that say ICE exhaust is a about 30% CO2, 30% water, and 40% Nitrogen (which is also 78% of the entire atmosphere) all the time, every time. Actual pollutants are barely evident in modern exhaust. At some point engines just won't run effectively to do anything. Don't know where that happens off the top of my head, but I suspect it will be long before an 80% reduction in CO2.

On top of that they're confusing EPA standards with previous CAFE standards (which have been rendered pointless by the EPA standards by the way. If you meet EPA standards, you simply can't violate a CAFE standard). The implication here is that you'll have to sell two EVs to allow you to sell one ICE. Wrong. Only EVs (not hybrids, yada, yada) can meet those standards.

So when the "climate change" criminals claim, "oh, they're not banning ICE". Hell yes, they are.

It's all part of the perfect con that is climate change. Nobody understands it until it's too late.

Yep. Between this and Trump's Supreme Court overturning EPA's authority to regulate CO2 in the first place, Biden's just signed his political death warrant.

    Can't wait. Thanks.

Not what Jefferson said. He understood that there would be financial greed and corruption from wealthy corporations. He was way ahead of his time. Where does that place those who are cheering on Corporate greed and power, at the expense of everyday Americans?

Corporations are the reason the global standard of living has increased at such a high rate since ~ 1880 compared to previous centuries starting with the huge productivity increases made possible by agricultural equipment and the discovery of petroleum as an energy dense fuel followed by industrialization of drilling, refining, and distribution of its various permutations and of course the development of the ICE. Everyday Americans and global citizens of all countries have corporations which have brought together the necessary resources to produce innovative live saving products to thank for their well being today.

And we have MDS which results in otherwise decent people to lose their ethics. Who are these MAGA extremist deniers? What is an extremist denier? Who are these MAGA corporate puppets? Who are the MAGA insurrectionists? What is an insurrection? What about the BLM insurrectionists instigated by the Chinese Communist Party?
