Leave it to your pathetic NoTricksZone QUACK site to portray a trend based on one month of data.. I'll address, but first this...

    NoTricksZone_MediaBias.JPG

The attached chart shows the general trend for EVs and PHEVs in Germany. Note the end of 2022, and that huge, huge uptick. Note August 2023, with a doubling of EV registrations. The first 7 months of 2023 shows steady smaller upticks from previous years. OMG - a 30% monthly drop - forget about all those months that doubled, and the steady rise in the chart. BS QUACKERY!

Original comment in #817 --- "They install it but don't use it." That comment doesn't say "They install it, and connected 70-80% of it to the grid. The other 20-30% will be connected to the grid at a later date." I just get extremely frustrated by all this dishonesty, not just by you, but most of the denier posters.

That is exactly my point. They install but don’t use it. If not connected the power cannot be used and in the cases in which it is connected use is curtailed due to grid instability. Some of the added capacity may never be connected due to high transmission line costs from the north to the south. And the more connythe more will be curtailed. Plus Red China’s total energy requirement must be met with energy sources available 24/7. Any intermittent sources are used when available subject to constraints of grid stability.

No, I said EVs are irrelevant and shouldn't be supported with government handouts.

Tell the early Tesla shareholders how irrelevant EV's are.

You just don't get it, do you? 70-80% of the power was grid connected. But, in essence, you said NONE of it was connected. Lies, exaggerations, fake news - the MAGA mantral

In essence Red China builds wind and solar and doesn't use the wind and solar that they build. And if it is connected Red China curtails the use of it. Red China has publicly stated that it is not possible to eliminate fossil fuels. Red China use of coal fired power plants is growing. They bring ~ 2 coal fired power units on line every day, build wind and solar power installations and don't connect them, and curtail the use of wind and solar everyday. That is the factual information than you are ignoring. Red China emits ~ 3 X the CO2 of the US. Their CO2 emissions hit record highs in 2023. Coal is what powers the Red Chinese economy not nonconnected or curtailed solar and wind power plants.

How about if I also tell them about the $9 billion they've managed to steal from competitors so far under the government's regulatory con game that supports those currently falling valuations.

And then maybe I'll ask them how long they think that will continue if EPA loses their right to regulate CO2 and perpetuate that grift in June.

What do you think they'll say then?

Good thing I sold, and took the money and ran. And Stellantis has way too much inventory in lots all over the US. Their stock is tanking. This isn't an "EV thing".
    GM is doing terribly.

Personally I think too many of Tesla's models look the same.

It's not factual when an absolute statement is made, and 70-80% of the statement is an exception. I call that BS!

EV's remain a tiny percentage of vehicles on the road in Germany, and with the early-adopter bloom off the rose, their future is bleak.

I call that denial of reality. Red China’s CO2 emissions continue to increase every year. How can that be when their wind and solar capacity increases at a higher rate every year?

Claiming faux outrage over semantics is a denial mechanism.

Nope. Don't give a rip and never have.

But I will be celebrating come June when the EV nonsense goes away in this country.

The government push for EVs has done a lot of damage to the industry. Made them spend bunches of money on activist pipe dreams that will never pay off. Those that bit the hardest are being hurt the worst as the promises and government hype collapse into inevitable impossibility.

Tesla, as the poster boy of that con is in for a really bad stretch as it unravels.

Good thing you got out when you did.

Almost all EV stocks that got listed via IPOs or merging with special purpose acquisition companies in the past five years are now trading lower than the price ...

The state of Texas is already feeling the pinch of insufficient and unavailable green energy and it isn't summer yet. A couple of years ago they ran in to trouble in the winter. Pity the fool with an EV in Texas.

The Texas grid problems a few years ago were not related to renewables.
