Conspitacies are nothing new. People have raved against vaccinations for over 100 years arguing they are being done with evil intent, like spreading autism.

If that was the case, they should just say so, as opposed to telling people its an attack on global population.

Uh, a bit of splitting hairs, over 20,000 people were given it in 2 clinical trials in the US...and deformed babies were certainly born here, I cared for one as an adult who was born without arms OR legs.

My grandfather died of the pernicious stuff. After drinking the quart of pure grain alcohol that he had consumed every day for the foregoing 99 years of his life he was finally convinced by his 22 year old wife to try a single dram of the horrible poison and expired almost immediately. The only thing worse I can think of is whole milk, I can tell you some stories there.

The previous admin did lie A LOT, but is that a good enough reason to tell people that tha vaccine is a massive conapiracy and an attack on the world pwoipulation?

The crazies already have control of the government. I'm not sure they can steal the country.

Conspiracy theorists rule the government, and are a large segment of the general public.

The "trending" CT right now is that C19 is a dangerous virus that can be defeated ONLY by having a laboratory strand of mRNA injected into your body. Yes, people have bought it, big time.

And that is the essence of the parody

everything in that meme is correct - everything it is only when one is told that ‘ DHMO’ actually is H2O that the mind resets. It is one of the best examples of cognitive bias you can find

Yes, some 20,000 people participated in the clinical trials at a time when clinical trials did not require FDA approval, nor were they subject to oversight. But the FDA rejected the drug.

My post, however, was a reply to a poster who accused the US of approving and spreading a dangerous drug. Do you agree with that poster?

Isn't that what I said? I said that Kennedy awarded the woman that wouldn't allow the drug to pass in the US even though she was pressured by the corporations.

The FDA was respected and trusted by every nation in the world since it was first enacted at the end of the 19th century. That began to change with the Clinton administration. In the first 2 years Clinton had a Democratic Congress, so he was able to push a bunch of laws that changed the very essence of our nation.

One of those laws had to do with GMO's, since Monsanto was Hillary's client. The Republicans were adamantly against it.

Do you have a comprehension problem? If not then why are you spinning my words? I said that we were the only nation that didn't approve the drug, and that is why Kennedy gave the head of the FDA who wouldn't bow to pressure by the corporations an award.

Up until the Clinton administration in the 90's, our FDA was highly respected by every nation in the world for drugs, agriculture and cosmetics. They lost that trust with the GMO's, something the Republicans would never have allowed to pass. Clinton's law client by the way, was Monsanto. So if she had shares, she hit it big at the world's expense.

Today our non organic food is considered the worse. Our grains which are cheap feed, have very little nutritional value. I try to buy only grass fed milk and meat products and I avoid farm raised fish.

There are plenty of people who peddle conspiracy theories and other nonsense without any financial incentive. 9/11 truthers, Holocaust deniers, QAnon, birthers, the people who say that Omar married her brother, etc.

I personally think the examples cited in the opening post may be a little bit of a straw man.

Yes, there are some conspiracy theories that are totally bonkers, but it also becomes a dangerous slippery slope when you try to create a single approved version of the truth, in the name of trying to prevent "disinformation".

What about some of the other "conspiracy theories" that may indeed arguably have a little bit of truth to them?

How are they straw men? I'm sorry, but reality and reason are the final arbiters of truth, and they aren't on the side of the anti-vaxxers. Bonkers conspiracy theories are a much more dangerous "slippery slope" than accepting reality is.

It has not been 100 years, since autism was relatively unknown before, and mass vaccinations of infants didn't come about until the 90's. The problem is that they are given to tiny infants en masse, instead of spreading them out. That's why rational people fear that it might be causing the upsurge in autism.

Our doctors should be veering on the side of caution towards their patients, but they can't. They have to do what the corporations advise so they can avoid law suits. So the problem really comes down to lawyers. There are just too many, and since the Democratic Party is the Party of Lawyers, litigation rules the day.

Excuse me, aren't the same 'athiest' globalists the ones who said that the earth cannot sustain more than 800 million people? And aren't they the same people who ignored our genocidal bombardments in Syria and Iraq and encouraged civil unrest and wars throughout the world?

Other than the killings and abortion to limit the population, there is also the proselytizing of homosexuality in schools and colleges as well as other deviant life styles? So why would they stop there, and not use vaccinations for their depopulation agenda?

The only ones that were born in the US without arms, were one or two pregnant women who were in Europe and were given the drug. If the drug was tested on humans, which I doubt, then it would never have been tested on pregnant women. The head of the FDA refused to authorize its use, even though she was under immense pressure from the corporations. She said the drug had not been tested enough.

You're forgetting the Trump/Putin collusion conspiracy theory, which was probably the most damaging conspiracy theory in history. It kept Trump from forming a foreign policy that would insure peace with Russia and avoid a nuclear holocaust. That Trump was able to do as much as he did for our country, what with all the MSM propaganda and lies, is almost miraculous.

Except with that one we had absolute proof that the Trump campaign knew of an attempt by the Russian government to help Trump and attempted to meet with their representatives to cooperate with them in data leaks. And Donald Trump later helped try to cover up the intent of that meeting. These facts are undeniable. They later said that the Russians didn't pony up with the goods, of course, and that the planned collaboration didn't come to fruition, but that alone makes the "theory" far more realistic than anything else I mentioned. Let's throw in Trump's lunatic claims of a stolen election and his attempts to actually steal it himself along with that.

anti-vax? I just don't want one.. not just now.. with all the lies and confusion surrounding the whole covid thing .. I think I'll just wait a while and see if the truth about the risk will finally be clear. Really.. I think "anti-vax" is mostly just the most negative term the Left can come up with, I doubt few people care whether or not someone else prefers to get a vax or not.. it used to be a free country. just another example of the Left using the language to enslave the free thinking people.

Why do you see it as a left vs right issue? Do you believe the anti-vaxxers are mostly right wing, and because they have a reputation of pushing misinformation? I guess I am asking if the shoe fits.

Those so called facts are non facts and you know it. But propagandists feel that if they say something often enough, people will believe it no matter how ridiculous... and they are right, because people project their own character into others. Thus liars see others as liars, and those with integrity see others as having integrity as well.

What is humorous is that the same people who try to deceive the American people with their repetition of Trump's collusion with Russia, so that he wouldn't be able to bring about peace in the world the way Reagan did, pay no attention to Biden's collusions with China and Ukraine - when Biden's only agenda was to pad his pocket.

I have a long term memory and I'm old. I do use google though to check up on what I'm writing. Horrors should anyone prove me wrong on this forum. I'd have my head handed to me.
