In my opinion, supply side economics, much like States' rights in our past, is being misused for Causes of insufficient Justness and therefor, insufficient glory for our own republic.

Supply side economics should be supplying us with better governance at lower prices.

A free press is the very life blood of true democracy. And monopolies should not be tolerated--they stifle competition. So does having the state hand everything to you. Why bother working hard if everything you could ever want if forever out of reach because the state takes away anything you create outside of the norm? Why would someone struggle to build wealth to pass on the their families if the state will simply take your money from you? Why do anything at all if the state will give you everything you need?

It wouldnt have mattered which post war political Party was in office m the economic situation would have still been the same. The worst things that ever happened to the news was 24/7 news channels. THey have a lot of space to fill and a lot of money they have to make, so crap fills the airwaves. I've got nothing for you here, you are right--all the news channels are full of it. You have to read three different stories from three different websites to get the general idea of what's going on. Too (*)(*)(*)(*)ed much spin, not enough reporting what's going on, and zero trust in their respective lack of bias.

The hospital list showing 30 of the 50 top hospitals in the world and they are 'american'

It reminds me of a similar list given by an equally exciated american chap on a forum, showing boastful lists to universties.

Out of the top ten unis, only 2 were non american, (oxford,cambridge) it later turned out after shallow digging. That the list was american created and obviously biased. Although this does not matter apprently. As long as it flies the proper flag.
