The president remains popular among Republican voters, even as he endures historically low approval numbers at large. In most polls, around 80 percent of GOP voters give Trump the thumbs-up.

Still, Trump would become much more vulnerable if Republicans suffered major losses in the midterm elections set for November 2018.

:roflol: you people are totally brainwashed. I would say delusional, but a delusional person can be reasoned with to an extent.

Who was the last sitting president to lose a primary challenge?

So the guy he already beat easily is going to Primary him? The chances of a real primary challenge is alsmost zero.

Because he's just a lurker from DemocraticUnderground.com here not to discuss but to spew leftist garbage from their blog, inhale his own smug, and walk away.

    Basically ...trolling.

Honestly - Trump is too old to run another term. The office ages people, we've all seen it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Trump declares victory and states he has done all he wanted to do and doesn't run again - it would be in keeping with his past actions.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Niki Hailey is the next Republican nominated.

He has done all he wanted to do. He made money off of being in office and the GOP ignored his violation of the Emoluments Clause and he just robbed the treasury for his crooked kids and his cronies. He will leech as much as he can though before he is forced to be gone.

They are, and ironically enough, those funny pipe dreams are the only humor they have.

    Haley - Never gonna happen.

The other 5 in the OP?

    Never gonna happen.

And if Trump doesn't pull anymore garbage like this Jerusalem thing, and the economy's okay in 2020, he's a two termer.
