As long as it is science you agree with. A problem occurs when the science .... real science proves you wrong.

    Indeed.

". . . So, ‘ocean acidification’ is a supposed second order global warming effect, per AR3. Except that was never true scientifically — let alone that ‘acidification’ is a deliberate alarmist misnomer—slightly less alkaline has nothing to do with acids (below pH 7). The AR3 estimate of ocean pH going from ~8.2 to 7.8 with a doubling of atmospheric CO2 ignored the fact that ocean pH is highly buffered. Taking buffering into account, the max pH reduction from a doubling is 0.15-0.2 pH per the IPCC embarrassingly corrected AR4. This becomes a biological non-problem, since calcifying organisms (corals, pteropods, coccoliths) all regulate their internal calcifying pH to withstand natural ocean pH variances within their natural range. Else, they would not have survived. Yet they did. . . ."
    1. Overview: ‘Ocean Acidification’

Ocean ‘acidification’ danger is a canard to be fought at the highest levels. Oceans will never ... years, despite warming ‘acidification’. Coccoliths thrive. Alarmist ‘acidification’ memes do not.
the same as the ocean, 8.1 (OK, I can accept 8.2). ... Else, "acidification" in our oceans would require

    2. Ocean Acidification Effects Research in Doubt

The unfortunately named “Ocean Acidification” (OA) has hit the news again – and not in ... Note: I say “unfortunately named ‘Ocean Acidification’” because the name might cause some people
". . . Science Magazine carried the whole story here: “Does ocean acidification alter fish behavior? Fraud allegations create a sea of doubt” by Martin Enserink. The quotes below are from this article. . . ."

    Less alkaline means more acidic.

Whole nations being submerged by the year 2000 would constitute a problem. To my knowledge no even similar problem has arisen.
Especially given the stuff we were told about Covid, Science has taken a beating. We know they can just as easily lie about Climate Change as anything else. I don't know how we will really trust any information like this ever again.

The only thing the science has proven is that there has been a slight amount of global warming. The rest of the fear mongering is political partisanship, not science.

It's a pity those battleships are gone now. Just sitting ducks these days with missiles.
Wonder how long aircraft carriers will survive? Maybe they belong to the last war, but
do a good job in peace time of projecting power. I fear tomorrow's battles will belong to
the missile, submarine, drone, laser and satellite.

Whoever said whole continents will be submerged is being as ignorant as the people
they are opposing. The connection between Covid and Climate Change claims are
rather similar, and have solid numbers behind them.
I have shares in Moderna - their mRNA vaccine is super cool.

The only final say is the IPCC as it is a meta analysis and a systematic review of the science

Ooh yeah... and another terrifying one - biochemicals and poisonous gas. You see that
Novichok the Russians used on some of their dissidents? That's in breach of international
    conventions on chemical warfare.

Interesting, and thanks for that. If it pans out I will aceept it.
The problem is, to this lay-guy - what therefor happens with
the dissolved carbon in the oceans?

It wasn't warfare. It was assassination which is probably just fine with international conventions.

You could be right - but the issue then is, what sort of world do YOU want, as others want.
(I don't mean a greenie-woke world but the natural world.)

What I am getting at is - why is Russia making Novichok? Just to kill a couple of guys
or something to arm missiles with one day?
