A shooter is not a shooter if he does not have a gun in his hands.

You won't object to increased spending on mental health programs will you?

Sorry I thought it was quite clear.
It meant I found your claim that a man could carry out the same act he did with an assault rifle using a chain saw so ridiculous that it was beyond answering.
The idea that the police would have hesitated to enter if the guy was only armed with a chainsaw is preposterous.
Just as is the idea that somehow its not the availability of guns that cause these incidents in America.

How insane can an argument get that Americans need guns to defend themselves while arguing they are no more dangerous than chain saws, bows and arrows or even hammers.
    Those poor kids.

THE PUBLIC’S GULLIBILITY IS UNDERPERFORMING ESTABLISHMENT EXPECTATIONS: Poll: Strong majority favor arming teachers.

The decision-makers on the Left work constantly to burden the rights of lawful gun owners who commit 0.0% of the violent gun crime on others, while making sure they do not inconvenience the unlawfully armed felons that commit nearly all the violent gun crime on others. Obviously armed teachers would fall into the first group.

Interestingly, the rank and file Dems do not share the view of the anti-lawful gun owners/pro-illegally armed felons of the Democrat leadership:

Would you "guess by listening to all of the coverage at CNN or the Washington Post that nearly half of the Democrats canvassed in this survey are open to arming teachers? 67.5 percent of Republicans are in favor of the idea."

57.5% support armed teachers in school.
