Yes, Pycckia and TheImmortal have once again failed to bring back segregation and lynching.

    That's admirable.

    Then start your own thread.

Keep in mind the rules of the forum, in particular:

    5. TROLLING OR DERAILING A DISCUSSION

If you don't want to discuss the topic, stay out of the thread. Posts that are, in the judgment of moderators or administrators, intended to disrupt a discussion rather than actually contribute to it will be considered trolling.

So the world is and should be a congeries of necessarily hostile ethnic groupings? You do realize that is directly from Mein Kampf, right?

They are only hostile when forced to live near one another
I do not so realize. I come to my conclusion through a study of history.

The second one is far more dominant than the first. The right is only against Big Government when it's against them. When it helps them it can't be big enough

Trumpism is not conservative, it's part of the international resurgence of the ideology that nearly destroyed the world about 70 years ago. It's major precept is that only about 15-20% of the world's population should be alive. Everyone else is a waste of skin and shouldn't be breathing the air of the superiors. I don't know where it comes from but I do know it's just about impossible to discuss rationally since it's mainly saying that all people who are not the speaker or their immediate ethnicity should die.

No one is suggesting or asserting that. We are asserting that perhaps diversity is not as good as we have been told and that more homogenous populations and countries would be beneficial.

That’s completely different than saying anyone who doesn’t look like me should die. That’s ridiculous.

Are you referring to Jim Crow, or something more international?

Maybe they're "hostile" to you because of your attitude towards people who are "different" than you.

Biden is going to be the most liberal President in our history, and the racial right will go bonkers.

You agree with the conclusions of Mein Kampf, then. They are necessarily hostile since eventually the world is not big enough. Epidemics like the present one are among the many reasons superior ethnic groups should not tolerate inferiors anywhere, so they say.

Trump is far more likely to succumb either to his own lifestyle or to Covid than Biden. I do not think we will be that lucky in either case.

Biden will be whatever his handlers whisper in his ear through an ear mic or print out on the teleprompter. He no longer has the mental capacity to come up with a liberal or moderate platform on his own or to stand behind any personal convictions. Others are pulling the puppet strings.

None of the conservatives or Trump supporters are agreeing that the "two pillars" laid out are the reasons they support Trump. The liberals are agreeing that false premises are true. The initial post is a strawman fallacy. Pretty funny.

Nor does any politician or any sane man for that matter, given the complexity of the matters they must deal with. Generally pols have a very few solid ideas if even that which they communicate to their staff who then research the matter and come up with consistent statements on various issues for public consumption. Trump doesn't, which is why he so very frequently contradicts himself and says flat out silly things, but being insane he doesn't care. By this point it is obvious that he thinks himself God; what he says will be reality, either now or very soon.

By Jove, I think you got it! It is my crappy attitude that causes the Chinese to throw Uighers into concentration camps and the Burmese to persecute the Rohingi. My crappy attitude along with everyone elses crappy attitude.

Apparently I agree with the premise (of ethnic animosity) but not the conclusion. The world is plenty big enough. Africa for the Africans, I say.

Only meaningless if it isn't found in your circle.
Imagine a situation where everyone kept their word.
If they didn't want to do something you asked of them, they tell you upfront.
If they do and say they will, it a commitment they won't break- because they feel they have given their word, and their self-respect is tied to that... and the value their self-respect above everything else. They won't steal from you or lie to you, or take advantage of you for the same reasons.
Most people are not like that. Most people have character, so long as it's convenient for them to do so. But they take advantage when they think they won't be exposed, when they think you don't count or deserve fair treatment, or you can't hurt them or their reputation.

I'm sure you know a great many who are like that. That is not genuine character- it the facsimile that most people claim and try to present as who they are, but it's situational, not genuine.

You may not know anyone with genuine character, in that they read others very well, and usually don't associate or do business with those who don't have it, at least not in any way that depends on trust or character.
It's like a private club with an invisible membership- if you don't have the credentials, you'll never even know it exists. The fact you scoff at it tells me you don't.

Odd thing for you to claim since no one ever made such a claim. But I guess that’s what one does when one has no argument. Cheers

But at least it is on topic. My claim is that diversity creates problems and my argument is based on the problems it has caused throughout history and I have given some contemporary examples.

You are supposed to be arguing that diversity is good and give some examples of the good it has caused.

Can you do that or are you just going to complain about my crappy attitude?
