Every single room in this building I am in has light fixtures that put out WHITE light. I am sitting here beyond mad, shaking even, at this overt display. It figures that a white man, Thomas Edison, would invent lightbulbs that put out white light. I am currently searching the internet to find locations of Thomas Edison statues. Something must be done. Black lights matter!

Folks, this crap is getting ridiculous.

I didn't know that. Thanks. I do remember seeing my first 3-position signal, roughly 1964. Nowadays however the Michigan trend is toward forcing counties to accept roundabouts without lights. It's not universal yet by any means but a possible harbinger of an era about to end. A very useful one at that.

Ask this one: "Did you at any time ever have a say in which color you would be born? Then why criticize others who had that same equal say about theirs?"

Yes there is black bread. What makes it black is coffee and/ or unsweetened chocolate ( usually powder). Sometimes instant coffee is used or in Eastern Europe they may roast certain grains to get the dark color. How donI know this? During the first few years after we came to the US my dad worked in a Jewish bakery until he got his drafting certificate. So as a kid I asked annoying questions. My mom also worked at that bakery but on pastry and cookies since women were not as strong as men to handle heavy dough. Women also got paid less dough for lighter work!!LOL!
That bakery made an Eastern European Black bread and a pumpernickel which was about as dark as black bread but had slightly diferrent ingredients. Pumpernickel is German. Many bakers in the North East from the end of the 19th into the mid 20th century were from Eastern Europe or Germany or Eastern Europe via Germany. That is why Jewish bakers made the best rye bread.

My dad used to tell me that once the last Eastern European Jewish baker died we will never have any more decent rye bread. Or Khallah ( bread) either!

Yeah a perspective that turns every rock hunting more grist for a mill that is already choking on bile. Sorry but that's a damn pathetic way to live one's life. It's a lot easier to succeed if you quit hunting reasons to fail.

Yea I looked that up also. Makes sense since the Germans brought rye bread making to the mid west. Of course Germans made pumpernickel but if coffee or chicks powder was not available molasses can be used to make dough dark.

There's a Toledo, Ohio bakery that does superb challah (their spelling). Wonderful egg bread.

Amen. I run one commercial in every community in America, with Biden You get this, followed by the video of a bunch of white punks capering about a black man's burning business screaming black lives matter. And other pu J's attacking statues of Lincoln and Frederick Douglas.

Yup! This past weekend the wife and I went looking at cars in closed dealerships so no live salesmen around. One of the brands had four of there SUVs all lined up next to each other and they were all black. I did not see an Afro-American couple in the next row when I said to my wife "Black Cars Matter". She told me to shut before I get us killed with my big bad mouth. LOL,! Our lease is a few months away from being up so we are doing our homework.

PS Before you ask the answer is no ............

Yes khallah can be challah just as Khanukah can be Chanukah !
We are not Jewish but in my mom's home village the Norther part was Jewish as were and her neighbors. Mom used to make khallah for Chirustmas Eve. Of course there are other shared foods between Easter European Jews and Ukrainians, Belarus, and Easter Poles. Pickled herring, borsht, blintzes, etc.

On a extremely sad note my mom witnessed the Germans ordering the Jews from her village to go go the train depot to be hauled away. Less than a year later my mom was sent to a German forced labor camp herself.
