I wasn't aware that anyone considered the "out of Africa" theory a conspiracy. We learned that when I was a kid. The only other alternative theory I heard was the "out of Asia" theory because Asians have longer mytochondria or some genetic mumbo jumbo.

Evidence for what? I asked two questions and then gave an opinion based purely upon the question of discernable differences in structure. It almost looks as if several different groups evolved from a root species, the one shared by us and chimps. With slight morphological differences. Adaptation may not be the sole factor is all I am saying. Might be more complicated than that.

What would explain the rise of civilization and a written language as well as a good understanding of the movement of celestial bodies and a calendar, in mesoamerica? They lacked the gene, right? Was it present in the middle east in mesopotamia? Where we think civilization first arose? How about in ancient India where another civ. arose? Or in china? The ancient egyptians were a really intelligent people. Did they have this gene? Their monuments are still around, thousands of years later.
Ok, thought you were making a claim. AFAIK, at some point, humanoids split from the group that became the ape family. But both groups originated from the Great ape family. I have not heard any other theories. And I've not read enough on neanderthals to know if only certain groups of humans have or don't have neanderthal dna.
All that seems obvious to me is that the white variation is special. Why" Little melanin, a variety of eye colors other than brown, and the possibility hair colors other than black. Why do we see such variation in white people? Seems like something was making the genes work overtime.
I am behind the curve on modern anthropology, but just assume that neanderthals were one of the homids to come out of our root ancestors. So the split between apes and what would evolve into humans, included the possibility for neanderthal to arise, as well as homo sapiens. If a neanderthal could arise from our common ancestor, then surely several different kind of humans could arise from those same ancestors. And then with each new wave, with each wave a little different, they got the hell out of africa!! Only the dark africans stayed. They may have come too late to fight their way out, since perhaps the other parts of the world were already getting populated. In tribes.
