Where has anyone attempted to attribute godlike characteristics to animals?

    LOLOL

Haven't been proven wrong at all.
How many people do you know who hunted in Africa.
Poachers don't harvest anything, but legal hunters do.
The local people depend on the meat.

Such as the asinine comparison between legitimate hunting and the murdering of homosexuals presented on the part of yourself.

An answer never was presented to that particular question. Is a citizen of the united states free to travel to any one of these locations where homosexualism is illegal, pay to legally take part in the murdering of a homosexual by throwing them off of a building, and then returning to the united states free of any legal or moral consequences for their actions? Do these locations have a thriving tourist industry built specifically around the murdering of homosexuals?

"Hunters are accompanied by knowledgeable guides and use crossbows or high-powered rifles equipped with half-mile scopes. Some 300 grizzlies are killed annually, usually while feeding at salmon streams or by the shoreline. They are skinned, their heads and paws cut off, then left to rot in the wild. No part of the animal is eaten or used in any other manner"
    http://www.vancouversun.com/technology/editorial+should+trophy+bear+hunting/8875726/story.html

"In contrast, relatively little is known on the effects of unpredictable sources of food, such as carcasses discarded by hunters, on carnivore species. We evaluated the effect of elephant carcasses, mainly deriving from trophy hunting",
    https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0121471

Only an idiot would think that a hunting company would bother spending a lot of unnecessary money and time humping a few tons of inferior meat onto a truck and traveling hundreds of miles on rough ground to give to locals when a few dollars would buy a few local cows representing much higher meat quality to give instead to locals. Hunters like you think that locals are just waiting for the big brave hunter to bring them meat - Can you be any more patronizing and gullible!

I think balut is the correct analogy, not an omelette.

I don’t think you understand the difference between North American and African trophy hunting.

    Even in Africa.
He found some anti hunting site and believes them.
I was a kid when some of my dads friends went there.
They had stories of how a pigmy tribe followed them,
cut a doorway into the side of the elephant,
    lined up and walked inside,
    picking out their favorite parts.

The locals follow them, and clean the animal for them,
just for the rest of it.
It doesn't cost the company anything.

And as for brown bear, they have to be kept under control.
    Lots of scavengers eat them.
an exploding brown bear population is wreaking havoc on black bear numbers. "Brown bears eat them," he said. "They drive them away."

When one seeks to elevate nature, or specifically members of the animal kingdom, above human life, it seems to me an attempt to fill the void in the human psyche most often occupied by religion. Historically some people have actually worshipped animals. In postmodern society it’s a more subtle searching for meaning in a cause greater than oneself.

I just don’t think brown bear carcasses in North America have a lot of relevance to Africans eating or not eating elephants. I agree though there isn’t any difference in hunting game on either continent from an ethical perspective. Except that we have more right to control our own species than those in other sovereign nations.

A closer analogy would be pulling a baby chicken embryo out of the egg and smashing it's skull.

So I wonder if the guy working at the stockyard, who kills the animal, is a serial killer.

Except that doesn't happen in surgical abortions but disinformation is common amongst those who oppose women's right's. The dead fetus is dismembered in situ. This accounts for less than 5% of all abortions.

The other 95% do NOT require any such procedure to occur.

So really what your saying is trophy hunting is ok because most animals are taken with a dangerous game cartridge like the .458 Winchester or .416 Rigby. Contrary to misconception of many who oppose hunter’s rights only a fraction are taken with an inhumane cartridge like the .308 Winchester.
