Wow. Just wow. Complete incompetence on the part of the police. Is it really true that the police have to prove someone was raped in order for the rape victim to get an abortion? That's insane to me. Absolutely insane. She's 13, so has no idea what plan B is and was probably to scared to talk about the rape like any child would be.

I guess it's great she kept the child, but also sad because now taxpayers will have to foot the bill supporting the child unless she can pick herself up the bootstraps like everyone else and become self sufficient.

I have been more than vocal to what should be done to rapists and pedophiles. Republicans that have allowed laws like this to be passed that force young children and rape victims to have their rapists child are just as guilty.

Is traveling free these days especially with "record setting" inflation? Rightists keep posting stories about how the average family can't pay to put bread on the table, yet expect the family to be able to travel to another state for an abortion.

and a vote for Democrats means more rapists and a diminished ability of honest people to defend themselves from violent criminals. It is much easier for Democrats to disarm potential victims than it is for bible thumpers to prevent abortion

I don't agree with not allowing abortions for incest or rape victims, but the people of Mississippi voted for this and it's the law. Did the girl's parents reach out to any pro abortion groups to arrange care in an abortion sanctuary state? I'm sure there are many pro abortion groups that would have helped.
