After watching Biden’s speech after the Afghanistan catastrophe I am struck how frail and weak Biden is. His speech and hollow threats move no one unless they are desperately trying to defend this ridiculous administration. Biden can’t even handle questions but sent Psaki out after to answer them, something unheard of.

If you watched Biden’s speech and watch this video you must have an impression and opinion. This is mine.

 

Sorry, I can't watch him. It just makes me angry.

 

Watching Biden should embarrass you.

 

And now you know how many of us felt watching Trump.

Poor feller. The left was crying since 2016 but you never saw the right screaming uselessly at the sky like babies due to Biden 2020. In 7 months Biden has done more to hurt America and Americans than anything the left claimed about Trump ever did.

Bush sent us into this mess, so you can pretend the sky is falling with Biden, but it's hardly the worst thing that has happened.
How short your memory is to forget the hundreds of Marines killed in the Beirut bombing while Reagan was
at the helm. Or the USS Cole. Trump abandoned the Kurds just to secure Turkish contracts for his Trump Towers in Turkey.
So I'm hardly going to call Biden a great President, but please, stop with bombastic bull crap.

 

You mean the Kurds, and I applaud Trump's decision with regards to the Syrian theater. If you think we're having trouble now in Afghanistan, what makes anyone think we could fight a decisive war with Turkey? And on what national interest? What the establishment deems a national interest, and what America actually needs as a national interest, are two different things.

The Marines killed in Beirut were not because of a direct action Reagan took. The USS Cole incident did not happen because of a direct action Clinton took. Trump didn't abandon the Turks but like Afghanistan pulled our sons from danger in foreign wars.

 

The buck stops with the President - I know that's a hard concept for Trump supporters, but it what it is. Biden has to
accept responsibility for the people killed while he is in office.

That's the difference - a real man accepts the burdens. A weak President points to the "evil press" or tries to hand
off responsibility to the CIA or others. Trump supporters could never stop their worship of Trump. Biden is just a man - we'll
see if he can make a bad decision work in the end, or if it becomes a long term problem.

 

The buck stops with the president does not excuse poor planning. Then he says he stands by his decision. Generally that means that was the right decision which he would repeat under similar circumstances. That is scary.

 

I understand, you have a biased narrative that you have to stick by. So far Biden's decision has been a disaster so it can't be made to work in the end. It's already screwed.

 

When we pulled out of Vietnam - people called it a "disaster". A few decades later we have fairly normal relations with
Vietnam. American companies have factories there - Americans retire there.

Military scholars warned that going into a war in Afghanistan was a waste of blood and money. Pulling out may look messy
at the present, but long term, it will save American lives and a ton of tax payer dollars. So, given the history of these
things, I'm going to withhold judgement on your Chicken Little narrative

 

I was never so disappointed when we went into Afghanistan knowing it's history and the history of Islamic fundamentalism. I have no problem pulling out of Afghanistan but Biden deciding to push out until fighting season was his first mistake. The second was abandoning civilians in favor of pulling the military from Bagram (which he is now blaming on others) and moving to an airport with one runway and no defense.

 

And, while it's messy now, in six months we can watch the Taliban and ISIS fight each other and be glad we are out of it.

60 Us Soldiers dead in Afghanistan 2017-2020, cumulative 2361 since 2001.

Biden has put an end to this and is accepting responsibility for his decision....... unlike the last incompetent,ignorant president whose followers still see fit to defend.

 

What Biden was planning on from the beginning is for the proles to forget his screwups.

Dude…wow ….what planet do you live on…. terrorist that flew jets into the twin towers caused this…. Al-Qaeda was based in Afghanistan. They operated training camps there, and openly lived in the country with the support of the Taliban, an Islamist group that ruled the country.
If you don’t believe me… just ask this guy… he probably doesn’t think your “ sky is falling“ line was very funny.

More deafness. Do you actually read what you write? This isn't just the folks who died today because of his decisions, it's all the future folks who he's condemned to die because he's an a&&hat who chose to literally tell our enemies who and where all of our allies in country were. Your insane babbling about a president who no longer sits in the chair is a symptom of the retaliatory anger so deeply seated in your party because the public denied you your queen. Get over it already. The fact that you can't even care about all the folks Biden has condemned by his choices and policy seems to salve you over your previous enragement.

So, be the man you say you are. Biden has pointed at anyone and everyone as the reason he's in the mess he is today. You, personally, are adding to that narrative here on these boards. And for once realize that your never trump BS has nothing to do with why Biden got so many killed yesterday, and why so many more are going to get hunted down because of Biden's ineptness and incompetence.

 

Another way to look at it is that he's conceded Afghanistan to China. He's gifted 80B worth of military hardware to terrorists, and he's literally supplied a list of names for all US Citizens, green card holders, and afghani allies to our enemies. He's worse than any traitor in US history.
