We know why Egypt arrested them and is cracking down on those independent organizations, the new Egyptian regime doesn't want those groups opposing it and sowing the seeds of rebellion in the future. The soon-to-be Egyptian ruling class doesn't want what was done to Mubarak done to them. They aren't stupid, they want to secure their future.

Thats the future in which Egypt is an Islamic state, Sharia is in full swing complete with cane weilding clerics enforcing Islamic law and overseeing stonings, non-Muslims are butchered or driven out (particularly Christians and Jews, the soon to be created Egyptian Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice can't have the unclean intermingling with the new Master Race), and Jihad is the mandated lesson for children.

Some of those arrested are part of the National Democratic Institute, an organization full of Democrat Party big wigs, and with ties to organizations such as the Socialist International. I would evict those people as well, unless Egypt wants to be a socialist country.

And I would be suspicous of outsiders, particularly those from the US govt, who will be promoting all kinds of socialist BS.

But the US govt also has some interest in Egypt, since Egypt will no doubt fall into the Islamic fold and we will all be treated to Egyptians on CNN chanting their little "death to America" rants. We need to know something about Egypt .

I have not researched this thing closely only to the limits of general web searches and newspapers, so I refrain from commenting on the guilt or innocence of the 19 Americans held. As for the OT none are accused of Spying. Anyway if I were president I would watch the trial proceedings with a hawks eye. If it’s a 'rail road the Americans VIA anti-freedom anti-democracy anti- west Pro-Hamas Pro-Arab (ha ha) kangaroo court' my USA citizens would get A FREE ' Get out of Egypt ride on a chopper with a bunch of SEAL guys ticket' .

That's a typical Zionist method of honoring and defending the unconditional hatred of Americans, but the fact remains that not all Americans live in America. Some Americans even live in Egypt as the thread title suggests.

It is likely true that some gullible American Guilt Complex members may be fooled enough to buy into such Holocaust misuse and abuse. Yet, the probability of such is less likely while some Zionists are smearing Americans who don't live in America with unconditional racist hatred.
