    Folks, I have a hypothesis;

    Canada Median Age; 41.1
    U.S. Median A; 38.3

    Source; Worldometers, population

    Canada Median Age higher than U.S., HOWEVER;

    According to Dr. Birx, Obesity, Lung Disease, Heart Disease, Older people with pre-existing health problems.....most at risk of dying.

    Canada Adult Obesity Rate; 29.4%
    U.S. Adult Obesity Rate; 36.2%

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/countries/obesity-rates-by-country/

    Canada Lung Disease Death Rate per 100,000; 19.1
    US Lung Disease Death Rate per 100,000; 32.1

    Canada Heart Disease Death Rate per 100,000; 55.36
    US Lung Disease Death Rate per 100,000; 86.89

    https://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/cause-of-death/coronary-heart-disease/by-country/

    In addition, per capita, US/Canada Average Annual Common Flu Hospitalisation/Death; Significantly lower in Canada, and it's colder

    Last, Canada's hospitals; currently not overwhelmed/no medical supply shortages....NOT YET, thus, better health care per Covid affected patients.

    yay for random statistical markers?

    On a more serious note, I have been trying to find a daily chart of the recovered in America. What's the US record for single day recoveries?

    Would any normal person, ever in their entire lives, consider ingesting fish tank cleaner?

    It was not at the time he said it, that's why the couple in Arizona tried it.

    Texas data for the state has been updated for the day. The TX data tracker keeps adding features; demographics is new.

    Demographics show that the cases across the state are much younger than what we've been told to expect.

    6000 is probably the right number, even if it looks suspicious. You can hover over the bars on the chart at this website and it shows the daily numbers. 6000 recovered looks to be correct.

    This picture is doing a great job of showing the situation. The recoveries are indeed outpacing the deaths, but the infections are outpacing both recoveries and deaths, which is why the death rate is gradually increasing and recoveries decreasing. If infections slow, the true recovery/death numbers will improve.

    Yes. At the "end of the road" there will be zero new cases (yellow) and everything moves to either red or green.....mostly green.

    Probably.....

    Assuming 50% of active cases have been hospitalized, 14 days home isolation for milder cases.

    Andrew Cuomo gives the numbers of hospital discharges nearly on a daily basis. It's only reasonable to assume that not all people admitted with coronavirus die or are put on mechanical ventilation. Those that recover are discharged. There's no mystery or anything unusual about this. End of story.

    I don't think that the demographics are that different from what we were expected to see - at least not in terms of infections. If those were the charts for mortality, that would be incredibly disturbing though.

    So it looks like ~1200 is the single day recovery record for the US?

    Highest recoveries reported in one day: 1470

    That's according to the data on the epidemic-stats.com site I linked where you can hover over the bars and read the exact numbers. Data may be slightly different from Johns Hopkins.

    They've been announcing age one-by-one locally. That tracker doesn't have that info.

    Update to the figures above:

    499 people died in France today.

    In the USA, the number of dead has risen from 261 to 439.

    Turkey, which had just over 10,000 cases yesterday, now has 13,500+ cases and has leapfrogged over both Belgium and Netherland on the list.

    This is a great interview with a lot of explosive information and helping to understand more about COVID-19.
