Fuel prices rose because OPEC cut production during COVID — trump worked to achieve this and some sources say he threaded the Saudi’s.

Once demand started to pick back up we had supply chain issues and a lack of supply causing the cost to skyrocketed. There was also some anticipation that Biden would go to war with oil companies but he didn’t (speculation)

We currently produce more oil than we ever have and more than any other nation — under Biden.
