No there really isn't. He never even implied that we would juggle some things and change a couple other things and save enough money to pay for a wall. He said Mexico would pay and making them would be easy. If they don't pony up, you don't get a wall period.

 

I guess you missed the word contract. I was a contractor for over 20 years, and I always wanted 25% down and everything properly sighed before I buy one thing for the job, no exception.

Yea you can, especially when you consider that it's never going to happen. It will languish in court for decades while expensive lawyers haggle about emminent domain and myriad other obstacles. There are far more effective ways of managing border security in the 21st century than a stupid wall which was always just a trope to rile up supporters. Even the campaign aides are coming out to say so as we speak!

I actually think Obamacare is a hot mess but, let's be honest, my premiums were rising up to 30% per year before Obamacare. Plus, the insurance companies had a gazzilion excuses as to why they wouldn't pay out or even offer coverage in the first place. That's not to mention the millions who had no insurance whatsoever and for whom such cozy conversations were totally moot. Sure, they could visit the emergency room for a sticking plaster but guess who ends up paying for that?

No worries though because Trump's going to offer us all super amazing yummy coverage that's going to cover everybody and be so mega cheap you wouldn't BULLEEVE it!

I would wholehartedly support a replacement but, as evinced by the recent attempt to replace it, current congressional Republicans aren't interested in actually offering people superior, cheaper, healthcare. They just want to nudge things closer to where they were before at the complete behest of the health insurance industry and to heck with consumers and the poor and uninsured. Their last attempt at a bill proved, beyond doubt, that they just don't care about that at all.
