No name, I didn't stutter. These 'liberal circles' you speak of are not known the population at large, thank goodness. If what you were saying was even remotely true, the pre-Iowa and New Hampshire polls would indicate that. If you can provide some evidence of that perhaps I'll take your claims seriously.

It does matter how many people were running against Trump. Each opponent that receives any votes pulls off from leading candidates. Had Republican had only two candidates that would have changed the total number of votes cast for those two candidates, this isn't rocket science.

Facts without context are just numbers, neat to look at, but really meaningless...

It doesn't matter how many people were running against Trump because the popular vote is about how many people you can get to vote for you. What is so hard about that to understand. Polls are polls not all are created equal. To suggest that Bernie Sanders was not well known nationally in the Democratic Party in specific and the liberals in general is completely false. How many Democratic Club meetings have you attended? How many Democratic Party picnics have you attended? Your basis for your claim is that polls were slightly off. What tripe.

It does matter, as these primaries were not conducted as the national election. There were closed primaries, there were open primaries, there were caucuses, and a few other methods. To attempt to equate that to a single event election like the presidential election is ignorant and idiotic. The number of opponents and type of process changes things, that is not something you will be able to dispute.

So you can provide no evidence but your anecdotal nonsense? No surprise there...

You just described the left's names for those that DO agree with Trump, but you left off racist, bigot, islamophobe, and homophobe. Not sure if hypocrisy was your goal or not.

    Trump does fantastic with Independents.

And the establishment GOP (of which very few voters are part of) is coming around.

    There is no "traditional GOP"

The Bush Neo-Cons - and it's only been Bushes in the White House for the last 25 years - are establishment globalists in the pocket of Israel.

Reagan was a very different brand of GOP, much closer to Trump's nationalist and populist ideals

Trump's political doppleganger is Teddy Roosevelt

If Trump actually expanded national parks, increased taxes on the wealthy, and actually kept us out of wars, he might be Teddy Roosevelt. The problem is he is a liar, just like Hillary, and will say anything to get elected.

Reagan was NOT a populist :roflol: he catered to the wealthy every second he was in office.

That's because Uncle Bernie is the Socialist Undead. Hillary is going to have to drive a copy of The Black Book of Communism through his heart to kill him... :)

Reagan was far more populist than the Bushes.

You're confusing the social strata that he was part of with his beliefs. Reagan was always for the common man.

As far as being kept out of wars ... I suggest you don't vote for the war monger Neo-Con we call Crooked Hillary.

She'll have us in a war with Syria or Russia faster than you can say 'she supported the Iraq War'

No, I meant Trump. And I stand by what I say.

Trump is not competent enough to run the White House. Running America and running a business are two separate things.

Make up your mind, please... So things from 30 and 40 years ago ARE, or ARE NOT worthy of bringing up? Because there's a thread, right now, that has your peeps all over it not caring about Hillary's success in getting a child rapist off because it happened in the 80's. So at least try to be equal, k? Even at that, I find Hillary's cackling over her success to be a lot more cringe worthy than Trump "allegedly" telling some black girl that she can't rent an apartment. Something that must not have been a big deal until this year.

Trump Debates are a huge ratings draw. The Networks hosting debates with Trump have reaped millions in ad revenue. Hillary has refused to debate Bernie before the CA primary as the Dastardly DNC tries to kick Brave Bernie to the curb.

So Trump has offerred a high profile debate, with Bernie, before the CA Primary so long as the nework kicks $10 or $15 million for charity, preferably for Women's Health Care.

Scrappy Bernie, always up to the challenge has of course immediately accepted.

Haha no worries, I will be writing in Bernie in the general, I can't stand either of the liars the parties have put up.

If Reagan was populist why did he make it his mission to destroy unions? Why did he institute Reaganomics which even Bush said was nuts? Reagan was a faux populist, like Bill Clinton was.

Bernie Sanders was an unknown name until he said "free tuition and healthcare." Suddenly he stimulated to the max the attention from the lazy, uninformed community.

A Reality TV host for a Reality TV nation.

Congrats to him for this. It is definitely a feat that will go down in history.

    A sad day for America.

    - - - Updated - - -

Bernie Sanders is very well know, and has been for years.

If you didn't know who he was before a few months ago, I'd say that it was you that are a member of the subset of people you labelled.

It's facinating what passes for "conviction of bigotry" in lefty land. First case, a housing discrimination suite from 1979 that was settled, not "convicted" and the second was even more ridiculous...a fine for accommodating a racist client?
