    Awesome.

As the president apparently assumes Kavanugh's innocence here, he remarks how frightening it is in America for young men, as they may be falsely accused of rape, or some such thing.

Keeping with his "the women are always lying" theme, the president unashamedly, in my opinion, seems to instantly side with men in the matter.

I can't imagine why the victims of sexual assault come forward so seldom given the environment created by the president.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/409486-trump-very-scary-time-for-young-men-in-america

"It is a scary time for young men in America," Trump told reporters on the South Lawn before leaving the White House. "You can be accused before you prove your innocence."

Asked if he had a message for young women, Trump said, “Women are doing great.”

The president said he hopes for a “positive” vote in the Senate this week for Kavanaugh, but it will "be dependent on what comes back for the FBI.”

Odd how he didn't side with the accuser who has no evidence.

To any thinking person this is nothing more than an orchestrated political hit job. The stories of the accusers are falling apart.

I'm sure this post is insulting and bullying to the OP.................

    I nailed that one.

It is almost as if the OP is 100% predictable....

Start a thread based on BS.

When BS is challenged immediately go to Step 2 and claim you are being insulted and/or bullied.

    A. "As the president apparently assumes Kavanugh's innocence here...." Of course he presumes Kavanaugh is innocent, or he wouldn't be supporting him. (Side note, most rational people believe he is innocent. This nonsense is just partisan theatrics.)

    B. It is a frightening time to be a young man in America. (Or a man of any age, really.) A man can be accused, virtually convicted, and have his reputation ruined in an instant based on nothing more than a woman's claims and with zero proof.

    C. It is not anti-women to speak out about the unfair and frightening position men face.

    D. Could you folks please learn how to spell Kavanaugh?

The presumption of innocence is a bedrock of our system.............unless you are unhinged lefties who refuse to accept the results of an election.

    A. No. A plurality believe Ford over Kavanaugh.

    B. Men feeling uncomfortable for the first time in history. Oh woe is me.

    C. Their position is not unfair or frightening. He had multiple senators as well as the ****ing president preaching about his innocence and directly lying on his behalf for months.

    D. Whatever.

Presumption of innocence is a bedrock principle.

"You can be accused before you prove your innocence."

That is a quote from a ****ing moron though who can't even understand the bedrock principle.

It can also be perjury..............which her "testimony" seems to be.

All of their stories are falling apart.

I believe Hillary Clinton said the same thing about the women accusing Bill of sexual harassment.

That's how we roll in America - you're presumed innocent before you are proven guilty.

Obviously, the lynch mob on the Left has a problem with that, but until Ms. Ford produces evidence and eyewitnesses that prove Kavanaugh guilty, it's fair for Trump and anyone else to assume that Kavanaugh is innocent.

It is frightening in America for young men who have been falsely accused of rape. Ask the young men the young men in the Duke lacrosse team and the young men in the UVA fraternity who were falsely accused of rape.

And where did Trump say "the women are always lying"?

I must have missed that. Until you can establish the he did (quote and source, please) I have to conclude that

    A) You are putting words in his mouth
    B) Your logic is at best fallacious and at worst dishonest
    C) All of the Above

Yet, there's no evidence to support that contention. In fact, Trump said he is open to changing his mind about Kavanaugh and his innocence if and when he is presented with evidence establishing his guilt.

What I find shameless is the eagerness on the part of Leftists to side with Ms. Ford and women in this matter and abandon the principle that people in this country, regardless of the charge, are innocent until proven guilty.

Trump hasn't created any environment - you have merely fabricated one.

What I can't imagine is how anyone would take the comments and opinions you've expressed in this post in good faith...

Why would anyone expect more from a philandering, admitted *****-grabber, Peeping Tom of teen girls and supporter of pedophile Roy Moore?

Do you mean to say that you are incapable of reading, understanding, and evaluating a news story so much that you simply reject, out of hand, any source you deem not "legitimate"?

I don't find Fox News to be "legitimate", but I certainly read and listen to their content, and then research the topic on my own to discern the truth of the matter.

It's called "critical thinking", and the fact that you reject sources that don't conform to your political view shows that you lack those skills.

Last move left for Ford to show how truly credible she really is is to go take the "13 Reasons why" route and that will all but guarantee that she was telling the truth which no one believed. Leaving Bret on the bench will be turned into a day and night circus of "you hate women".
