He’s authorized to disclose that sort of thing; not sure that counts as a leak

McCabe is just another dirty cop.

"Mr. Rosenstein made the remarks about secretly recording Mr. Trump and about the 25th Amendment in meetings and conversations with other Justice Department and F.B.I. officials. Several people described the episodes, insisting on anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. The people were briefed either on the events themselves or on memos written by F.B.I. officials, including Andrew G. McCabe, then the acting bureau director, that documented Mr. Rosenstein’s actions and comments."
THE NEW YORK TIMES, Rod Rosenstein Suggested Secretly Recording Trump and Discussed 25th Amendment, By Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt, Sept. 21, 2018.

Why don't you post your souce that supposedly knows exactly what Mueller has or does not have. And yes of course the crimes will be old since Mueller is investigating crimes during the campaign and during the transition period . Of course crimes like lying to an investigator like what Cohen and Manifort did will be much more recent.

Oh you know that's not true. Clapper and Brennan both said Americans weren't being spied on without FISA, this was proven to be false pretty easy to look it up.

McCabe and Comey have competing statements under oath to congress, one has to be lying.

Comey point blank lied about when the investigation started based on evidence collected through congressional oversight.

Then we have the famous Rice saying ole Benghazi started over protest but we've since got all the email records that showed this was a farce for public perception.

if you don't know about these then get your head out of CNN or MSNBC for a few day.

What exactly do you think " c" means in the link I provided for you. And it is not a statute it is a letter appointing Mueller to be Special Council.

Read the document in my link again.

He absolutely is not. Under what delusional precept is a federal employee legally able to release private communication with the President without authorization ??

How can it have been proven when Trump hasn't testified? Till he testifies in person it can only be assumed from the obvious fact yhat Trump is a compulsive liar and would undoubtedly lie while under oath.

Who said he was guilty. The fact that he lies continuously cannot be in doubt so odds are almost 100% that he couldn't posdibly tell the truth if he had to testify under oath for several hours. That said he is obviously too much of a coward to actually testify despite his claims about being willing to do so in the pady.

You did with your "assumption".. See Previous post.

He has no reason to testify what crime is he being charged with?

You don't have to be charged with a crime to be asked to testify. Under what judicial system do you live?

And since even you can't dispute that Trump lies very regularly why would you doubt he would lie under oath?

Didn't he volunteer to testify? And anyone the prosecutor thinks has information relevant to the investigation can be asked or subpoenaed to testify. If you read the news apparently the question of Trump testifying has been endlessly negotiated between Trump's lawyers and the Mueller team.

Trump has now testified in writing. Whether or not he will be subpoenaed is still open and up to Mueller.

I've read that appointment letter a dozen or so times. Are you somehow under the mistaken impression that a letter appointing a special letter does not have to follow the law on appointing special prosecutors?????

    (c) means exactly what the law says it means. I'll quote an excerpt:
    28 CFR § 600.4 Jurisdiction.
    "....... The jurisdiction of a Special Counsel shall also include the authority to investigate and prosecute federal crimes committed in the course of, and with intent to interfere with, the Special Counsel's investigation, such as perjury, obstruction of justice, destruction of evidence, and intimidation of witnesses;
It also says that if he uncovers a potential crime not integral to his assigned investigation, he must bring it to the Attorney General for direction and guidance.
