    How could Trump supporters accept and believe this lie.

    The US population is ~325 million and the participation rate around 60% or 195 million.

    Trump is blatantly lying that Ivanka created 14 million jobs which is ~ 7% of the workforce when the unemployment rate is ~3.7%.

    This is totally incredible but the Trump devotees accept and believe it.

    The only jobs Ivanka creates are for those people who follow behind her and fix her screw-ups.

    I think if trump’s supporters take him seriously and ssy=he does not lie, I think it is reasonable to take him seriously without such an accusation

    Actually I do get THAT. But that does not require those people to defend all that he says and does

    Trump doesn't believe that lying about numbers counts as lying. He's directly stated this in The Art of the Deal.

    Never, ever trust anything he says, but be especially skeptical any time he starts bringing up math. He's warned you to do so.

    Except this is hardly a slip. Trump makes up numbers all of the time and claims that lying about numbers isn't even lying. This is part of his character, not a one-off mistake.

    The only thing I've spoken about is the supposed "14 million" jobs. Take up whatever beef you have with the OP with the OP.

    Again: Trump is virtually incapable of telling the truth any time numbers are involved. He's admitted it.
