You stated that the US government has no authority to tell any citizen what they can or can’t put into their own bodies. You claimed that a fairy told you this. Is this the substantiation to which you are referring?
Law enforcement officers routinely kill individuals simply because their commands are not immediately obeyed, even if the deadly force is being dealt while the officer is still issuing the command and thus leaving no time for compliance to be engaged in.
I disagree, a bump stock ban cannot be enforced. Wantonly displaying it in front of cops and getting arrested is not enforcement of the law. Enforcement requires law enforcement to compel obedience - law enforcement must make sure nobody possess a bump stock. And there is only one way to do that - door to door searches.
Do cops go door to door to enforce drug laws? Nope. Bump stock bans are exactly as enforceable as narcotic bans.
And until we see door to door searches and confiscations, no crime will be stopped by this regulatory ban.
The last president could slice a banana for breakfast and people would scream that he was trying to take and destroy all of our guns. This president unilaterally imposes new gun regulations that actually entail a ban of all things and many of these same people can't deflect quick enough. Amazing.
It most certainly is being unilaterally imposed. This ban is the product of the executive branch alone.
And how has that "war on drugs" gone? Badly. Its created cartels and made therm fabulously wealthy, its created a revenue stream which funds violent gangs in every major city in the USA. Its flooded the prisons with nonviolent recreational users. Why has the "war on drugs" gone badly? Because most drug laws are unenforceable. And because the people do not support it. But your conclusion is correct, the drug laws are a good example of how gun bans will work (or not work).
Seems to me many things in recent years are not going well. All the more reason for me to hang onto my guns!
gross exaggeration. Also patently false. Try to make honest arguements. Or at least base your bias in some degree of truth.
1: I don't see anyone from the pro-gun side "deflecting" or giving Trump a pass here 2: The "ban" here does not involve a gun. So... You present a strawman and false equivalence.
