Obama set $1.8B in cash on pallets to Iran without Congressional Approval and you never said squat.

Yep your right my mistake that they weren’t all prohibiting blocking funding. You gotta admit though this seems different than basically all of those others. I wish he’d have signed the funding bill and just kept raking Nancy over the coals about her funding an “immoral wall” and about her paying more than “a cent”. A little more pressure and I think there could’ve been a bill the old fashioned way. If there was a large disaster caused by an illegal immigrant that might have been enough without having to risk as much politically. Feel free to call me out if you disagree

Uhhh... they were willing to shutdown the Federal Government and have 800,000 Federal Workers most of them Democrat voters, missing paychecks to keep the borders open.

They are committed to open borders despite all the murders, violent attacks and mass rape of the females that illegally cross. Remember, Democrats were so committed to slavery that they fought a civil war over it and would not stop fighting until the Republicans killed 30% of the military aged Democrat males. They aren't quick to realize that they are beaten, they aren't smart enough to change tactics, and they aren't easily beaten into submission. I think they may be as committed to Open Borders as they once were to slavery.

Past Congresses have already granted the President the authority he needs to get done what he wants to get done for now. Paul Ryan screwed us all on more congressional funding, but he's gone now. Trump has what he needs to move forward in the meantime and we need to retake the House in 2020.

It also serves as a distraction from Mueller. Today's filing in the Stone case is rather devastating to the "no collusion" narrative.

I'm convinced that he realizes that his "big, beautiful wall" that he repeatedly promised Americans that Mexico would pay for, (a campaign gimmick contrived by a reality-tv performer with no experience or expertise in border security) serves him far better as an airy-fairy fantasy to keep his grovelers in line.

Of course there is no "emergency!" The number of Border Patrol arrests in fiscal year 2018 — a standard metric to measure illegal crossings — were below the yearly average over the previous decade.

For two years, a Republican-controlled Congress treated his"emergency!" with contempt and refused to give him the money for his "big, beautiful wall!" that he insisted Mexico would pay for.

And, in declaring his "emergency!" to contrive a Constitutional crisis to prevent the "big, beautiful wall!" actually being constructed for years of litigation, he actually blurted out, “I could do the wall over a longer period of time. I didn’t need to do this. But I’d rather do it much faster.”

    Emergency?

An "emergency!" for Cry baby Donny would be not being able to lash out and blame everyone but himself when he doesn't get his way.

If he contrives enough distractions from distractions, the end of all his distractions will be to arrive where he started and get gobsmacked by reality anyway.

I see. In your mind the national emergency act is a valid political card to be played when it benefits the politician. Thanks for reminding me why I’ve had you on the ignore list.

I understand how difficult it is for you as an individual citizen to find out exactly what the alleged subsidies to the cosl and oil industry are

But I am not going to take some thinkttank lefty with an agenda’s word for it either

There is something called the oil depletion allowance that reduces taxes on the oil as it leaves the ground

But there are no direct subsidies to the oil companies

They pay billions in taxes every year

Fantastic move. America gets her wall, boosting our economy and culture, and Democrats end up spit-spewing mad. What's not to love?

    Thank you for your opinion.

I prefer to draw mine from reports by experts and officials in charge on matters of National Security, as opposed to experts like Rachel Maddow, and emotionally stunted politicians.

    LOL

You can't even get your claim right. Have to invent that, didn't you?

It's not a vital card to be played. There is a crisis on the border. You're media ministries have been claiming that for years. Something has to be done to remove the potential for death and destruction caused by poor or missing infrastructure on the border.

Your choice to remain uninformed. Try doing something about it and you wouldn't get frustrated and have to fall back on insults and personal attacks.

By all means, place me on ignore, again.

Really.....if that makes him negligent. What does that make BO the Peep who was looking at the same problem before Trump came along. Sheer Incompetent, huh?

No. He didn't think there was a national emergency.

Trump thinks there is one, but failed to act for two years. That is incompetent.

Of course he also didn't act when the Republicans controlled both houses of Congress. So he is negligent (for not acting sooner) and incompetent for not managing to get a Republican-controlled Congress to fund the wall.

Now now now......there is only so much they can do with a 30second or 2 minute soundbite.

Those 2 minute soundbites must push the attention span envelope.

But he has acted, repairing the barriers with the money he got the first time out. You must not know how much that was. He then also was willing to give the Dreamers a pathway to Citizenship. Your Demos turned it down. Being the incompetents they were created as.

So what you are saying is BO the Peep didn't even have the brain capacity to know the problem existed. Guess none can argue that point.

Apparently, he didn't have racists like Stephen Miller and John Bolton whispering in HIS ear about nonexistent emergencies...
