Nothing he does surprises me now. What do you think of his Monday morning quarterbacking?

What do I think? I think Trump better than most fully understands how badly Joe Biden effed things up in Afghanistan.

Trump wanted a conditional and managed withdrawal from Afghanistan. Joe Biden fled in the middle of the night like a scared rabbit.

But as to what I really think. I think Joe Biden is President. Stop trying to deflect away from his piss poor performance with the orange man bad stuff. What do you think about Joe Biden's disgraceful decision making and his disrespect of gold star parents?

Sorry. Some of us here are not going to let you get away with the constant deflections to cover for Joe Biden.

trumpers get upset when you make their god look like the idiot he is. Since Afghanistan isn't the easiest place to get to, how does the idiot think the equipment can be removed through other countries?

“I don’t think there is a Republican foreign policy or something that’s coherent in any real way,” said Shadi Hamid, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution. “Biden’s withdrawal comes directly from Trump’s deal so this is a major legacy not just of Biden but of Trump, so I think that complicates the whole story.”

This article is based in part on the opinion of the idiot i quote above that could not read a simple couple page plan and then comment on it...

The Brookings Institution is a nonprofit public policy organization based in Washington, DC. Our mission is to conduct in-depth research that leads to new ideas for solving problems facing society at the local, national and global level.

    In depth research my ass...

That is why President Bush did not invade Afghanistan. General Franks had a better plan. To use the Afghanis themselves to fight each other.

The bulk of it wasn’t even our equipment, it was the Afghan security forces’ equipment that was surrendered to the Taliban.

The dishonesty and failing to ignore facts here show just how desperate they are.

Your evidence of this? And do you agree with the article that the equipment as as they put it "mostly defunct"?

The Taliban received mostly defunct military equipment? That is a fallacious premise meant to manipulating the reader into believing there's no purpose for bombing the weapons. There's videos of Taliban armed forces opening up new weapons, playing around with armored vehicles, and flying black hawk helicopters. These are relatively new weapons that the US bought for the Afghan Army. Its not even in dispute. https://nypost.com/2021/08/20/us-le...ghanistan-with-black-hawks-in-talibans-hands/

The point of the ranters essay is to mislead idiots into believing that Trump wanting to withdraw troops from Iraq is contradictory to wanting to retrieve, destroy, bomb the US weapons in Afghanistan so it doesn't fall into the hands of the Taliban. Both goals are achievable. We can go back in to bomb the weapons, and then completely withdraw. The weapons should have been destroyed or retrieved before withdrawal, but Biden was both ignorant and unprepared to deal with the situation. The sourced ranter from Politico wrote a false article to disparage Trump's logical statements about destroying Americans that Biden let the Taliban acquire, because he's a crazy person that can't deal with the facts demonstrating Biden's big F-up.

It doesn't surprise me that Trump-hating Democrats would post a rant essay with numerous falsehoods. There's no reason for the OP to be surprised by Trump's statements. I'd also want to bomb those weapons, and then completely withdraw. The problem with Trump's statement is that we have people that need evacuation, and a bombing may anger the Taliban.

There's no evidence suggesting that the weapons were mostly defunct. The Taliban got stockpiles of never-opened weapons. They acquired weapons, armored vehicles, and aircrafts from bases. Some of the aircrafts and vehicles needed to be maintained for the Afghan army, but that's a consequence of Biden not allowing US contractors to assist the Afghans. Another blunder by the Biden Administration.

The OP source isn't credible. That's the main issue. That second paragraph is a major red flag that the article isn't at all factual.

Does the ownership of the equipment matter at this point. The question is, do you prefer to bomb it or let the Taliban have it.

The good news is that he’s just another loudmouthed idiot blowing it out his ass now and whatever he says will just be laughed at like we do when Sean Hannity does it every night.

Except...Do a search on the Afghanistan refugees. Trump has already poured an accelerant and lit a match claiming Biden is letting in terrorists and some of these people believe that.

They not only ignore the fact that these people helped our side in the war in their country, but

They had to submit applications and has background checks before they were approved to leave Afghanistan, and

They completely whitewash the FACT that Trump invited the Taliban (terrorists) to Camp Davis.

Think about that. The INNOCENT Afghanis are unwelcome but the PSYCHOPATH MURDERERS were going to get the red carpet.

We can laugh at Hannity (I don't because I don't watch tv) because we can change the channel or turn it off.

Trump is extremely dangerous because he can manipulate millions of people into believing a complete lie.

He's a traitor to our country. I consider him PUBLIC ENEMY #1.
