Seems Trump violated the judge's gag order in the trial of NY v Trump and the judge fined him $9,000. Trump was told by the judge not to speak publicly about the jury or witnesses. Was anyone else under a gag order? Looks like everyone can talk about Trump but Trump has to keep his opinions to himself. If Trump continues to violate the gag order he could face being jailed. The gag order seems to restrict free speech and has set up a good case for appeal.

And the first order of business Thursday morning will be another hearing on more contempt sanctions for Trump.

He can spend his time in lockup while he appeals. At least in lockup he won't be able to violate the judge's gag order. Then again I wouldn't put it past him to find a way.

it's all good. This just makes the whole 2-tier LAWFARE all the more evident, leading to more sympathetic votes for Trump.
These "genius" lefties did NOT think this through!
Can't wait to see it fall flat on their faces!

Have any of the prosecuting lawyers talked disparagingly about Trump outside the courtroom? How about any of the jurors? How many of the witnesses have made disparaging remarks about Trump outside the courtroom?

True! Any other defendant would be in jail for not following the judge's orders to not intimidate jurors, witnesses and court officials.

Yeah... he would have been in prison years ago. The privileges that Trump has received demand an overhaul of our judicial system. Corruption should be punished MORE harshly and more promptly than many other crimes. Especially at THIS level. Because it's a crime against ALL of us. Nobody who acts as corruptly as Trump should EVER come even near the chance to become President.

Criminal defendants' First Amendment rights can be narrowly restricted. Reality. This is what happened to Trump. Deal with it.

The problem is that some people have been wrongly convinced that calling people like the judge, the jury, court officials and their relatives names is "a defense". Have any of those people made public statements about him during the trial. The jury is under a gag order, they cannot discuss the case while it is going on. The Judge can not make personal comments about Trump while the case goes on. You are expecting a different set of rules for the Ex-President and are angry because he is being treated the same as other defendants.
    You have taken the bait.

The media is talking about Trump 24/7. Even Biden is talking about Trump. How much worse can it get.

The judge is a crook who should have recused himself. He not only gave money to the Biden campaign, but his daughter is also a big fundraiser, who makes a lot of money, for the Democrats. The New York City judicial system is corrupt as hell. All they succeeded in doing for me is to make it plain that I never want to step foot in NYC again, and I used to live there.

The more "injustice" his DIShonor depenses, the higher Trump goes up in the polls.

So no one involved in the trial is talking disparagingly about prosecutors, jurors and witnesses, other than Trump. Got it.
BTW...you ARE aware the media and Biden aren't part of the trial, right?

Bull Crap! The Biden administration involvement in this case is up to their eyeballs. Biden probably doesn't know much about it because he hardly has enough mind left to find the men's room.

Everyone is entitled to their political delusions.

What gets me is what Biden supporters think they are going to get if he's re-elected. If you are not working for the government, you have stand a better than even chance of getting the shaft, just like we have gotten over his first four years. Have you shopped at the food store lately?

You have no way of knowing what all the people involved in the trial are talking about.
The media and Biden are the cheerleaders of the trial.
Even Al Capone wasn't persecuted as much as Trump

Then Trump should discuss what the media is doing not attack the judge, the jury, the court employees, the witnesses and their families. Decorum is designed to give everyone on each side a voice. Breaking decorum is an effort to change that.
Trump is talking about Biden, his son, Hillary, Obama and many others. If he or his supporters wish to do that fine, but he should put on his big boy pants when it is done to him.
This is why I am so disappointed in this forum. It used to be a place where ideas were discussed, for many it has become the same thing you are talking about in post 13.

What do you expect? The Democrats have weaponized the legal system. The current trial in New York should not be happening. The Feds and the previous New York City district attorney declined to prosecute it. The only purpose is to get Trump off the campaign trail and muzzle him.

I am at best a lukewarm Trump supporter. I wish the Republicans would nominate someone else, but I don't have that option. What the Democrats are doing is fatal to the republic. You don't think so because you hate Trump, but the concept is valid. You don't use the courts and maybe the prison system to do away with your political opponents. That's what dictators do.
