Why would Iran use a (loud) large speedboat to remove a mine? And what evidence is there that an undetonated mine was even there? And if there was an undetonated mine that was known to be there where was the security around the ship safeguarding the evidence of the crime?

Do you have to be slapped in the face, dude? Yes, the US backed Iraq, Iraq used chemical weapons against Iran, the intelligence provided by the US allowed them to target them. But the US was not behind Iraq's chemical weapon programme and had no way of knowing how the Iraqis would use the intel.
    What don't you understand?

Because it had to remove it to avoid the US salvaging it and discovering it was of Iranian origin, because the speedboat was available (it may have been the mother ship for the Iranian combat swimmers), because we have pictures of the mine.

The last question baffles me, you're asking why there wasn't security around the mine, from whom? The US navy hadn't been able to get there before the Iranians.

By denying it you are not putting on any pressure on the US over sanctions, so try again

There is no declared war - they are terrorists.
Who was monitoring the video from the drone?

How long does it take a warplane to reach a target in that straight?

There was 9 hours between the explosions and the so called undetonated mine being taken away!

Yes you are, you're threatening the world economy whilst maintaining 'plausible deniability'.

Yep, the first mine cause the ship to rise above the waterline revealing the 2nd, the Iranians then realised what was happening and swooped in to remove the evidence.

No, this is a covert action by a government agency, it's certainly criminal, like the French blowing up the Rainbow Warrior but terrorists are non state actors.

Assuming it was a military drone monitoring the Iranians - why were they allowed to get away?

How do you think Trump should deal with the Iranians?

The drone was there but was hardly going to fire on the Iranians and start a war.

No, you're flannelling. The Iranians are proving to everyone they can strangle the world economy and that they will if the US doesn't lift sanctions.

WTF LOL OMG etc etc! Stop flannelling. How can I read an 'imaginary' report? Course they did, the mine wasn't apparent to them until then.

Let me guess, you were never in the navy and never served in these waters deterring exactly what has happened here?

    I did .

Was the drone armed and what would the rules of engagement be? I suspect we will have Op Preying Mantis pt2 with maybe some added strikes against their nuclear programme?

It is also unfortunate that so many keep defending the man while disregarding taped and video showing the lying I refer to...even the tweeting is often explained away as a joke.

Clandestine operators/spies and terrorists are all illegal combatants and subject to execution on capture. Why didn't the US kill capture these enemies?

Not what I asked you. How long does it take a warplane to reach a target in that straight?

How would killing or capturing terrorists involved in attacking tanker start a war?

Yes but that would define everyone in the military ever? A better definition would be that it is the work of individuals rather than nation states.
