So what your saying is that the government is responsible for the good economy ?

    Thanks for proving my point.

Funny, that's how I feel about him draining the swamp.

Yep... Trump's government, to be precise. Glad we agree, for once. You're welcome.

Interesting.... is it because the swamp, despite all its corruption and other issues, had been so wildly successful in taking care of the American people, domestically and internationally, growing their incomes, expanding the middle class, decreasing the gap between the rich and the rest, preventing useless wasteful endless wars, destroying terrorist organizations worldwide, insourcing jobs from other countries...? The swamp had done so remarkably well before Trump, they certainly deserved 4 more years in addition to the previous 50. Right?

I'd follow a model like that of Sweden. They've also modified their own model to provide additional protections for their elderly as that was one mistake they had initially, but since resolved it with new data.

They chose to protect their economy and are now seeing way less deaths per capita than any other European nation while still having a fairly robust economy with their economy only shrinking 8.6%. EU as a whole shrunk more than 12% while heavy lock down countries like Spain which economy shrunk a staggering 19% and France which shrunk nearly 14%

So thank you for proving my point that the economy is good because of all the stimulus from the government. All that money the government gave to people and companies has really helped the economy.

Wait, I thought government spending was bad ?

The current economy is very falsely inflated. Any economist without a political agenda will tell you that. The numbers were seeing today are a result of that extra $600 per week in unemployment, those $1200 stimulus checks, the corporate bailouts, the stimulus directly infused into the markets, and countless other smaller programs that gave tax money out.

Ummm...you're seriously confused. This is NOT commerce from people spending their own money. This is people spending those government checks. And while we have 8% unemployment, the stock market has had a boom. Odd huh? Oh wait, thats because Mnuchin put $4 Trillion of taxpayers money in it to prop it up.

Oh, and the gap between the rich and the poor has GROWN astronomically in this pandemic. Thats just a fact:

huh. It's still happening. As are the corporate subsidies?

But what we're seeing reported today is from that. We're seeing Q2 and Q3 numbers. That WAS stimulus monies

God bless Trump for managing to keep the economy afloat, assure V-shaped recovery and put tens of millions of Americans back to work.

The pundits and democrats were gleefully predicting 30% unemployment, an economic depression that would be by far worse than the great depression, a decades long recovery.... The left is truly disappointed (as your post demonstrates) that these predictions have not come true, that Trump managed to pull off another miracle and reignite the economic growth.

By negotiating, you mean not bending one bit and adding a ton of riders that have NOTHING to do with COVID 19?

Republicans went from 1.6 trillion to 2.0 trillion and the thing they are unwilling to do is give tax breaks to the wealthy in blue states, more specific, Pelosi.

The only person that has truly worked to get people money that need it has been President Trump through executive order.

I love how all the righties are using this "V shaped recovery" BS being forwarded by the Trump camp.

You keep dodging the fact that the economy is falsly inflated right now. And when/if Biden gets elected, you will start screaming about deficits again. DJT has increased our nations debt by almost $9 TRILLION (or 30%) in just 3 years.
Odd how you were all deficit hawks when Obama was in office. And I am sure you will return to that position when Trump is out of office, on that I have no doubt

We actually agree that Trump's policies and the stimulus have rescued the economy and spearheaded the V-shaped recovery, the difference is, we are celebrating the success, and you are grieving that the alternative (a horrific economic recession) was prevented by Trump's administration's decisive, brave and correct actions.

Don't be sad though, if Biden wins, he will use the opportunity to lock the country down and plunge it into a horrific economic calamity to its fullest.

    FFS. Your being obtuse

The entirety of my post is that the economy is FALSELY inflated, and all you can say is "thank you DJT". Make sure you give him the credit when the stimulus stops and the economy tanks.

And you still havent addressed the point that Government Spending is bad. You and yours have said that for years, and now you cheer it on when your side does it. You were all fiscal hawks when Obama did it, but you all got curiously silent when Trump did it. Odd huh

Dude. tens of millions are back to work, the GDP is skyrocketing, the economy has staged an absolutely remarkable v-Shaped recovery which all self proclaimed experts predicted would be impossible,

We entirely do not care about the entirety of your post and your sour grapes, grapeape. We really really really don't, we are busy celebrating this yet another enormous success of president Trump and the whining of the left who did not get a horrible depression they were rooting for is music to our ears. Unlike you we are thrilled that businesses are reopening and America is back to work.

FFS. You cannot be this obtuse.

YES, the economy is good now, BECAUSE IT IS FALSY INFLATED WITH GOVERNMENT MONEY !!!!!!

So why did you scream about the deficit under Obama, and yet when Trump adds 2x to the deficit, you dont go silent, you actually CHEER IT ON ?

I love how all the "principled" conservatives are now not so principled.....

Principled my friend, not stupid, not dogmatic, not suicidal. Principled. Duh. desperate times call for desperate measures and Principled people understand it just fine, it's morons who have a problem with situational awareness.

And Trump's measures worked like a miracle, the economy is roaring back, tens of millions are back at work, GDP is skyrocketing.

Things are looking up. What do you have to offer besides sour grapes and Biden's dark winter?

Biden’s “dark winter” is guaranteed because Trump did this. You wont see that because your being obtuse and playing politics. I’m sure you will blame it all on Biden, and the massive deficit and all. I am absolutely positive of it

You cant debate what i said, so you attack me.

    On ignore you go

We blame China for the drop, due to the virus they intentionally allowed to spread via air travel to the West, while at the same time they banned air travel within China.

    An honest liberal.

We don't need more closures, protect the vulnerable and let everyone else take precautions. Sweden never closed and their deaths are very low currently, if not cases.

Really? Trump holds no responsibility for how he handled the pandemic ?

You know their is now audio of Jared telling Bob Woodword that Trump was "taking control from the doctors" right ?

I thought Trump stopped that travel from China ? Your saying he didn't ?
