I asked for source and exact quote of the following claim. Your source verified my suspicion that the poster in question made the quote up. Thank you.

Obama returned money taken from Iran during the 1979 hostage crisis. That money was frozen in U.S. hands almost 40 years. It wasn't ours. We simply used it as a wedge to get Iran to agree to the nuclear deal, which both they and we honored until Trump became President and broke our word.

 

Why do the liberals get all bent out of shape while ignoring the record debt that Obama piled up?

 

He could hang this cover of Time magazine on his wall so he will get much-desired attention.

 

Obama didn't make the hollow claim of eliminating the national debt in 8 years. Another promise that will go unfulfilled.

What about his promise to tackle our infrastructure? Not a word about that, but plenty of talk about a 35 billion dollar wall that Mexico is not going to pay for. The infrastructure repair will cost upwards of 4 trillion dollars which would further increase the national debt and he promised, yes? Elimination of the national debt in 8 years? What a joke this guy is. A crooked con-man in chief, by gosh! Plays a lot
of golf and he berated Obama for playing golf, saying that he would be too busy working in the Whitehouse to play golf, and the flock
bought it hook, line and sinker.

 

It was a simple agreement. Obama gave Iran its money back that we had frozen as part of the nuclear freeze agreement.

Most conservatives tend to see the world in terms of black and white with few gray areas. They miss much of the beauty & complexity of life and the world in general. Sad.
