Partly because we don't want to see federal property destroyed, partly out of concern for the few decent citizens left in Portland being assaulted by the mob. Mostly because we don't want to see that stupidity spread to other states, like ours. I want to see the Portland rioters tagged and tracked like a pack of wild wolves, so we can make sure they don't leave the area.

 

You're right, they are only a threat to themselves. Let's remove ALL federal aid from Oregon, reroute their national guard to active duty orders so the President can remove them and place them at units that need and are welcoming assistance, and let Oregon live in anarchy as they please. I'm fine with that. History will show their stupidity by burning down their own communities and the rest of the nation has extra resources. It's a win-win for all of us! Except Oregon of course.

Why would I live there or visit? What part of what I mentioned do you disagree with? They want no police? Great, give them anarchy. Just pull out all federal aid and military (which they hate anyway) and they are good to go.
