Oh, so you gonna call me out? You are spreading Ukrainian bovine excrement far and wide. First you dismiss the 2014 coup as "Viktor Yanukovych just all-of-a-sudden walked off the job for no reason", SMFH. Then you have twice now come back with "elected a Russian-speaking citizen". Zelensky speaks Ukrainian too. Jeezus.

Maybe you can fool people who don't know the region or history but your propaganda doesn't work with me.

Crimea was bribed....top military brass were bribed ,wined, and dined. And a sham referendum was held...basically at gunpoint to achieve some ridiculous 112% turnout.

So far to date....all economic data in Krym is so called "classified"....whats Putinka hiding?:))

    Central asaian states are changing....fast.

Kazakhstan has taken steps to introduce English ,Latin script....as did Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan considering it also....since it's much easier to communicate and they've oriented themselves with China....and even those Chinese businessman who visit those Central Asian states thst can't speak the local language switch to.....English...if the situation requires it.:)

Well...according to you carsy....seems like everyone from Leipzig to Vladivostock should speak,,or should be able to speak Russian....and continue to do so....because we forced it down their throats that's why.:))

I'm assuming you been to Leipzig too...LOL...and Russian is widely used?

IRT...Yanukovich ...he did nothing for Ukraine....other than build a mansion for himself with gold toilets...and a private zoo, while many Ukies had to rummage in dumpsters....I guess that's progress in your opinion.....that 15 billion he was asking Vladolf for was his "re election" and would've made its way into Yanuks pockets along with his cronies....where is Yanuk these days anyway....New York,Paris,London?:)

I think it's very much in the interests of the US if dictator Putin doesn't gain more influence in this region. I assume Joe thinks so too.

Russkies have hated the West for over 100 years. Regardless of whether Russia is under communist or oligarch control. :(

Ah, ol' Joe's gonna support some Democrat-led, half-assed mission involving our guys half-way around the planet (again), this time thrashing it out with over 100,000 Russians in the snow and icy mud of Eastern Europe in winter? Too much fun! :woot:

Russkis have an "inferiority complex"....thats why they're not comfortable with the West.

BTW...those Russkis with $$$ seem to have no problem sending their brats to those "cursed,"....Western colleges.

Well if Russia invades I guess we can impose more sanctions on them. I'm saying it's not worth going to war over, no matter how much the Russians hate us.

Can someone explain this to me?

Biden assures Ukraine’s leader of US support to deter Russia

Administration officials have suggested that the U.S. will press Ukraine to formally cede a measure of autonomy within its eastern Donbas region, which is now under de facto control by Russia-backed separatists who rose up against Kyiv in 2014.

Isn't that ceding to Russia rather than standing up to Russia?

So AFTER Bidens call with Russia, Putin sends another 10k troops to the border of Ukraine.

He's also claiming there are threats against ethnic Russians in Ukraine. He used that same justification when taking Crimea.

Putin will probably take at least Luhansk and Donetsk, for one stated reason or another. Truth? He has an insuperable logistics advantage.

What I wonder is whether or not China decides to 'reunite' with Taiwan at the same time....

I don't think China will act in the near term (next year) as it will be exploiting its newest colony, Afghanistan. They also just possession of the only international Airport in Uganda.

He sure has a hell of a lot of men to feed and take care of on the border with Ukraine if all they're going to do is sit around for month after month.

I think he's gonna send them into Ukraine.

US intel seems to think so as well.

Interesting message Putin sent by increasing the number of troops AFTER talking to Biden.[/QUOTE]

THANK YOU! In a different thread I started, I was asking all posters if they knew where we could see an actual unedited TRANSCRIPT of what the two men actually said to each other. Link: http://www.politicalforum.com/index...n-conference-on-dec-7.595026/#post-1073124212

The one lib that replied said, in essence, 'you don't need to know that' (because, after all, nobody published a transcript of Trump's conversations with Putin! But, I retorted that while Trump was president, Putin never put over 100,000 troops next to the Ukraine border in a posture that nobody but an idiot could misconstrue as some kind of extended fun 'picnic'!

Long story short, we'll never know what Biden and Putin said to each other, but now, as always, "Actions speak louder than words"....

[IMG]. "Their JCS chief is that clown, Milley... he'll tell us what they'll do, or, not...."

Yup we likely will never know.

The reason Biden conducts his interactions from across the street from the Whitehouse is because they don't have to publish the activities there, and there is no visitors log.

Russia doesn't have a strong argument. NATO was not planning to place such missiles in Ukraine in the first place.

Additionally, had Russia not invaded Ukraine, then Ukraine would never have been willing to host such missiles. Russia only has to fear Ukrainian willingness to host such missiles because of the way they are treating Ukraine.

For what it's worth, it is north-central Ukraine that is situated for the easy bombardment of Moscow.

The reason why Russia is bothering their neighbors is not because they do not feel safe.

Russia is bothering their neighbors because Russia is an aggressor.
