Do you have any idea what Russia has within its Kaliningrad Oblast? Not too many people do....

But don't worry too much about Murmansk, although it's very likely, uh, 'fortified', too, along with everything else in Putin's relatively new military district, called "Arctic Joint Strategic Command". While we've been tearing ourselves to pieces all during the 21st-century, Putin and Xi have been very, very busy, and none of it has been about "studying Medieval Romances" at the Sorbonne....

Perhaps you should reread it. You simply haven't paid nearly enough attention to whats going on.

Joe is a tough guy. He stands up to a dictator as American presidents always did.
God bless America, President Biden, and Ukraine!
Vlad Pootin represents neo-Bolshevism and Russkie supremacy.
    Nobody needs that s*it!

    Слава Україні!

Joe? Joe Biden...? Joe Biden is a "tough guy", who probably has Xi and Pootski crapping their pants with fear for what he might do...?!:roflol:

I guess you figure both the Chinese and the Russians were asleep when "Tough-Guy Joe" made an unmitigated, complete blundering ASS out of himself with that sickening fiasco he 'commanded' in Afghanistan a few months ago...?! If so, you must think our opponents are as oblivious and STOOPID as we are....

Humor .. Joe has trouble standing up in the morning .. never mind having the mental accumen to conduct foreign policy. Putin did a fairly good job of standing up to a wanna be dictator though ..

Cool down, man. Do you agree that Russia is a continuous threat to the free world? Then you agree with many presidents from Roosevelt to Biden. :)

That's unimportant ad-hominem stuff, bro. Joe is a big player in the political and economic scene of the world. Comrade Pootin instead is only a filthy terrorist and leader of an emerging country that most people don't care about. :)

Oof power play indeed. I forgot about the enclave. Of.course ethnic Russians there.

I was around to see the dissolution of the Soviet Union. This is like watching its rise.

Of COURSE I agree that Russia is a "continuous threat"... and so is China. And to make things worse, now those two countries are forging a formidable military and economic alliance AGAINST us. And our Commander-in-Chief is a senile, dissicated, useless old fart like Joe Biden...? 'C'mon, man...! :lonely:

I just spent 30 minutes trying to track it down.

It was a tweet that also showed columns of men marching through snow, trains hauling armored vehicles, and a bizarre picture of putin sitting in a pool with Russian orthodox priests behind him.

Agree that a quarter million troops is far different than 100k.

It's possible Putin is doing this for leverage to get something he wants, but he know Brandon is such a weak fool that he can do as he likes.

Brandon gave putin the oil pipeline no strings attached.

As for invasion, why would you think he wouldn't when he's done it time and time again?

After Putin met with Biden the other day he actually increased the number of troops deployed figure out what that means.

BTW China is watching, but I think they are a few years away from trying anything with Taiwan.

I think Russia wants to be the baddest boy on the block in Eurasia.

As far as a threat to the free world, not so much.

    Canada has a greater gap.

Of course Biden giving Russia the oil pipeline means they have an engine to expand theor economy and military.

Ever since the 'Afganistan' catastrophe, I've thought, "Well, if I were Putin, why would I WAIT to take back as much of the former Soviet Union as I could lay my hands on?! Who's going to stop me? Surely not these hyperliberal half-wits in America, led by Joe Biden, who are 5,000 miles and an ocean away?!"

But, why would China wait...? We are disorganized, confused, and led by inept, incompetent morons... so from our enemies' point of view, how could it be much more ideal for them to act...?

It would very helpful if Xi and/or Putin were as stupid as we are, but that isn't the case....

China has a more complex issue.

It wants not just Taiwan but the Spratleys. Multiple countries involved including Japan, Philippines, the US, and others.

Its would also be the first military excursion for them since Vietnam in the late 70s.

Russia is well practiced and knows its neighboring countries well, China is getting there but I'm thinking by the end of the decade.

The moves these two players have been making on the Geopolitical Chessboard "China and Russia" have been very good. The US on the other hand has been a festival of blunders .. and this includes Trumpsky - use of the economic nuclear option - and a bunch of other blunders.

Tiawan is a different kettle of fish than Ukraine .. by a long shot .. much of the worlds chip supply comes from Taiwan - I could see nations stepping in to defend - its an extremely dangerous move on the board .. don't think the time is right .. and China is not in a Rush .. they just keep growing .. getting more powerful economically ..

Concur -- and also .. Ukraine was part of the Soviet Union not to long ago .. been causing much trouble .. What Trouble has Taiwan being causing China ??

The idea that Russia was going to let the Strategic port in Crimea - one it has held for 400 years - fall into the hands of Nato .. is a trope for the Moron's only club. US/NATO knew it was poking the bear .. as they had been doing for decades .. the bear just lying there .. but this time was different .. Bear drew a big fat red line .. Told NATO .. Don't do it .. but hey .. they went in an poked anyway .. messing with the elections first to get a pro western leader .. then this NATO nonsense.

Well .. the bear woke up .. and did what bears do when poked too much ... all the Nato clowns running around after the fact feigning ignorance ... OMG . can't believe Russia did this ..

Putin hits nail on head when he says .. how about we put missiles on your borders .. how did we expect Russia to react to destablization of nuclear detente .. wither and die ? No .. they took counter measures to restabilize the balance of power ... building short range nuclear cruse missiles -- violating short range treaty .. to take out those nasty ABMs .. advanced is anti satellite missile capabilities .. and sub capabilities.

What he didn't do .. but would have were the other measures not deemed sufficient - was put nukes in space .. happy day.

Actually, I do agree with you, but I truly do believe that Putin (and Xi also) may see a rare opportunity to just seize what they really want -- very soon!

Consider: once Putin's in possession of Ukraine, what's anybody going to do about it? Or, once China has occupied Taiwan, what is "the West" going to do about that?

Consider further: Germany desperately needs natural gas from Russia, and, the German Bundeswehr has already been allowed to fall into a state of near-helplessness compared with what it was a mere 20 years ago. Where is the NATO clout that could be brought against Russia? Germany is/was, by far, the only real potential deterrent against Russia located inside NATO....

Sizing-up a toad like Chamberlain, Hitler knew the time was right to continue to pursue his territorial ambitions ASAP. Hitler had it absolutely right, until he went overboard and decided to attack the Soviet Union....

And then there's the lamentable nausea surrounding Joe Biden... which probably worries China and Russia not in the LEAST....

I agree that times have changed . and get the sentiment .. but, don't think Putin really wants the Donbass Region of Ukraine all that much .. as we are not talking all of Ukraine.. He wants NATO to stand down .. this BS to stop .. not like he hasn't put cards on the Table .. albeit Cards he knows Biden can not agree to .. disallow UKraine Georgia from NATO.

Rather than handle this administratively .. like we have done with Tiawan .. we have been poking the Bear.. be it in Ukraine .. Poland.. Romania . Czech ..

Notice that this is more of a US/Ukraine Russia thing .. .. EU isn't saying they are sending in the Troops .. EU playing smart .. keeping Russia China Economic Door open.. Don't see EU joining in our China Olympics Boycot.

The economic game is afoot .. and is the real game being played .. these military games just a fascade .. keeping the US eye off the ball.

What “misrepresentation” are you referring to. It’s a FACT that Manafort gave them the polling data ? Are you disputing that ?
