It's horrible of course. I don't know where a tribal council fits into this though.

The video said the two men were from a different tribe than these women. So, I think I know why the two men left the area and went to the city to be arrested.

I think the city law probably doesn't have punishment to compare to what the women's tribe, who I would assume actually cared about these women, would have done to these men first, if they could have.

This might be the start of a terrible tribal feud.

 

One day you are complaining all day long about how Americans are doing wrong by killing terrorists in Pakistan with drones and the next day you are condemning Americans for being "best" friends with Pakistan. Total BULL. You're full of it. Any chance you get you will attack America even if that means contradicting yourself.

 

It's things like this that limit my sympathy for the people killed by drone attacks. We're dealing with tribal nutjobs.

It's not like we're bombing the civilized areas of Pakistan like Karachi.

 

Exactly. Killing monsters with drones doesn't make me lose an ounce of sleep at night.

With Islamic nations it goes without saying that they'd like to exterminate the infidels. They aren't friends of non-Muslims and they'd probably say that themselves.

Rather their our countries that will work with us and those that work against us. Half allies is as close as we get to friends, and of course they're all committing crap like this on a regular basis. It sadly isn't even news anymore.

Only speaking for myself, but here is one American that sure as hell feels no friendship toward them. As far as I'm concerned the whole friggin' assbackward cesspool could be turned into a sheet of glass (with the exception of the innocent children), and I would not care.

 

Pakistan is nothing more than a cauldron of intolerant and bigoted Muslims that make Westboro Baptist Church members look like Mother Teresa.

 

Do you see the hypocrisy in that statement. You are against those nutjobs for killing those women for and then in the same statement say its ok to send drones that would kill those women and many others like them because they just happen to live in a place where such nutjobs exist. Which reason is better? Killing 4 people because they are singing or killing dozens of them just because they had the misfortune of being born in a place where such nutjobs rule.

 

Drones that kill one or two monsters and dozens of innocents along with that. That makes you a worse monster than those you are calling monsters. Disgusting.

 

FYI. The SC of Pakistan sent a team to the area and were able to meet two of the girls who were indeed still alive and bore no signs of torture. No news on the others though.

Why is it okay to kill men, but not women?

 

Exaggeration is a poor excuse for condemning those that keep you safe.

 

Sure, there's hypocrisy there, but I'd argue the only reason the drone attacks are occurring is due to the raids that the Taliban does across the border.

It's no different from any other war. We bombed the hell out of Germany to defeat the Nazies, and a lot of the people killed were civilians. We bombed a lot of Vietnamese villages where the VC was hiding.

The difference in reference to your point, however, is that killing during a war, IMHO, is more valid than just killing someone because they're singing.

You can avoid killing someone who's singing. You can't avoid killing some civilians when you're defending your country from raids caused by extremists that hide in tribal areas.

And it's not like all these people are innocent. Clearly, these tribes aid the Taliban. They reap what they sow.

Of course not. What good would that do? These people just want to take aany and every example of violence by any nutjob and use it to justify the brutal killings of thousands of innocents instead.

I did put up the link that 2 of the girls were found quite safe (which was obviously ignored by them all) although the stories I did find, did not mention anything about the remaining 3. Glad to know they are safe though.

 

Difference is that the German nation was fighting a war. These are just individuals not supported by the government and much more more of a problem to the Pakistanis than they do for the Pakistani government. When you have a few murderers inside a city in US, you don't bomb them but try to capture the murderers only. But if the whole city collectively wages war on the rest of the nation, that's a different matter. Same story here. And the only reason some of them support the Taliban is because the US is killing their innocent friends and relatives left and right. To them, US is a much greater aggressor than the Taliban ever was so is it surprising that they hate the US? If the situation was reversed, you would be calling for their deaths too. Oh wait. You already are even though they did nothing to you.

 

Yet they still have plenty of religious freedom. The blasphemy laws have never been used to hang someone and most citizens are actively fighting for their removal.
