I would suggest reading the OP, which clearly discusses the voting in Texas that is going on.

    I live in Texas

Signs are up everywhere telling people to bring ID

The law has been in place since 2013

    Ignorance is not an excuse.

This is nothing but democrat whining ......................because apparently, only democrats cannot seem to get their (*)(*)(*)(*) together.

    whine on

But it is my theory that this law was designed exactly for that, to make sure that there would be some Democrats who could not vote.

My claims are: Strict voter laws have in fact led to higher participation rates for minorities voting.

And that claim is supported by the article along with the data in the article.

Other states require an ID to vote. The Texas legislature approved the requirement to have an ID to vote in 2011.

It's not hard to provide an ID to vote. Folks had about 3 years to prepare in Texas for this requirement.

Then how do Travis County, San Antonio and other pockets of Texas, go to the Democrats?

    How is that possible?

I realize those are your claims. I don't see the relation between voter turn out and voter ID laws. They appear completely unrelated.

Wouldn't it also prevent some conservatives from voting as well?

As cited by the cases in the OP, the law is prohibitive for those who would traditionally lean left.

They are not unrelated. ID laws have led to higher participation rates for minorities voting.

Only those who lean left sometimes forget to bring their wallet (with an ID in it) to the voting booth?

Plenty of conspiracy theories exist, so adding another is nothing new. People seem to find ID " racist" when we need it to drive , right ?

So it's only people on the left who don't have ids then?

These people were too lazy to even get a proper ID in the last year.

They care about the election a lot I'm sure.

What 3rd world country do you admire which doesn't enforce election integrity?

Maybe that is what you want the US to become.

Both you and Eboma are on the same dirty filthy lying page.

    Yes?

Once again, Fraudocrats "out" their voters as TOO STUPID/INCOMPETENT to do something as simple as OBTAIN AN ID.

What a bunch of self-described MORONS.

Quite a wordy OP, is it safe to assume the Truth-Out spin is something other than people who knew they needed IDs... didn't bother to get them?

Luckily they have 4 more days to do what they should have done months ago.

Scary that now citizens are being asked to produce "papers". Remind you of anything in the past?

2012 was the most recent national election. We don't know what the turnout in 2014 will be, which would seem to be an OBVIOUS fact.
