    Here is the same logic used by trumpers: The house is on fire but I hate to use the hose because I'm worried about the water bill.

    Are you going to provide the full context of Trump's words, or are you going to just keep misrepresenting them from here till eternity?

    By full context, I mean the context of Trump' stoppage of travel from China and other infected countries coming into the US. A stoppage enacted in early February that prevented many additional cases of the virus from hitting the US. A stoppage/restriction/ban that Pelosi and the dems (your heroes) are now trying to rescind; an act that would create an even greater risk to the US of the corona virus entering from other badly infected countries.

    House Republican leaders are calling on Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to pull a bill that would rescind President Trump’s controversial travel ban, arguing it could hinder the administration’s ability to limit the number of individuals entering the U.S. from countries that have faced widespread outbreaks of coronavirus.

    Why do you and the dems want to contaminate our country even more than it is being contaminated now?

    Of course there are good options right now.
    1. Level with American people about how dangerous this is. Stop comparing it to the flu. Stop making stupid predictions about it going away.
    2. Appropriate money to help out middle class people, industries, and get a lot of hospitals and quarantine centers built fast. The Chinese can build a hospital in a week, then so can we.
    3. Close all schools.

    Other than (3), which of those do you think aren't good options? Do you think Trump should continue downplaying this? Do you think he should still compare it to the flu? Do you think we shouldn't spend money on this?

    Trump has been pushed aside. The adults are finally in charge. They probably threatened to remove him if he kept it up. Now that people are dying, Trump's incompetence and narcissism finally is taken seriously.
