Trump's fans continue to avoid this issue.

Trump recently declared a national emergency for the expressed purpose of going around Congress to get funding for his wall. Because Congress denied those funds twice and they have sole power of the purse, that is a direct attack on our Constitution.

Trump's fans totally ignore that issue and, instead, insist that the President has the power to declare a national emergency. That is easy to say. No one is questioning that. Saying it is a ludicrous attempt to hide from the real issue.

The fact remains, Trump Republicans in Congress voted to weaken the powers of Congress by granting the executive branch the power of the purse, proving once again that Trump Republicans are not conservatives.

Liberals delight in changing the Constitution. Conservatives are strict Constitutionalists, and they accept what the Framers wrote without question.

For that reason, Trump Republicans in Congress who voted to weaken the powers of Congress have remained totally silent about their vote. They are embarrassed to be supporting Trump on this issue.

Trump's fans have to be disheartened by this. Lawmakers who support Trump are unable to say so. What could be more embarrassing of their undying loyalty to Trump?

Unless, of course, they are anarchists. Unless one has been living on Mars for the past two years, one knows Trump is a buffoon and lately he has been acting much a like a paranoid schitzophrenic.

But as Trump bumbles his way at the head of our government, anarchists have to be pleased. There is evidence of that in the postings on PF. Many are pleased with Trump's performance as evidenced by their unwillingness to recognize a Constitutional crisis when they see one.

He turned it over to the FBI hoping to put me in jeopardy."

In other words, in Trump’s view, a senator presented with serious and terrifying allegations about the president-elect shouldn’t turn those over to the appropriate authorities. No, this information should be turned over to the president-elect, and the fact that McCain did what most people would call the right thing only proves how much he hates Trump. That is an apt description of paranoia.

This isn’t the logic of a President, to put it mildly.

Trump continued his rant as the workers, many of them veterans, listened in shocked silence. “I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as president, I had to approve,” Trump said. “I don’t care about this, I didn’t get a thank you — that’s okay. We sent him on the way. But I wasn’t a fan of John McCain.”

A good guess is that Trump is referring to the fact that he personally authorized the use of Air Force 2 to fly McCain’s body from Arizona to Washington. Other than that, no one has any idea what he is talking about, except for the fact that this is another apt description of paranoia.

Americans have serious problem. Their President is a sick man.

 

When he does these things, I think, man he is really losing it.

But then I remember that he has always been this way. He is as repugnant and insane as he was decades ago. He would do these things during the campaign, and any sensible person would think, well, it's over for him now. No one in their right mind will vote for him. But his supporters just do not care how nuts and disgusting he is as a person.

Existing Justice Department guidelines say that a sitting president can’t be indicted — guidelines Trump legal spokesman Rudolph W. Giuliani has said Mueller will abide by. If a president can’t be indicted and the Justice Department can report only the things related to an indictment, that means any wrongdoing by Trump wouldn’t be reported.

If Republicans or the Justice Department want to fight the public release of the Mueller report, Trump just made that more difficult.

He gave permission for the public release of the report.

Trump is a genius at opening his big mouth and providing self-incrimination. .

There is something seriously wrong with this man.

 

We have a better President than many deserve.

We Trumpeteers got exactly what we want in a President - a person who vowed to Make America Great Again. He is what we deserve.

We also gave you exactly what you deserve in a President - a person who has Made America Great Again in spite of all of the lies, the vilification, the poison and the anger you have thrown at him. All of that fury blown away by a few cow farts and a bunch of self serving congressional hacks.
