Along party lines, all your objections to Donald Trump are based on your feelings and opinions, not facts. Show me an indictment and we'll have something to discuss. Otherwise, it's just more butthurt.

 

The Mueller Report already proved him wrong on obstruction. There is no honest person in the universe that considers an "if his intent was" then there 'could have been' to be even flimsiest evidence of anything. And Weissman--I'm very sure he wrote Part 2 of the Mueller Report--had nothing more than that to offer.

The President has nothing to fear from honorable people. Unfortunately the haters, never Trumpers, dishonestly partisan, ignorant violent and/or ruthless people don't care about law, about facts, about truth, about integrity, about unfairness. Most are shameless hypocrites and there is nothing honorable about them.

That is why I pray for the President every day and give thanks for those brave and honorable men and women in government, in the media, on social media, on message boards etc. who have the courage who stand between the President and the haters as best as they can.

Trump enabled Edogan to kill hundreds of Kurds and causing thousands more to abandon their homes, becoming refugees.

On a day when live, public House impeachment hearings began featuring two key witnesses against Trump, William B. Taylor Jr., acting ambassador to Ukraine, and his boss, George Kent, deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, provided devastating evidence of abuse of power, on a day when desperate Republicans are trying vainly to defend Trump from his own incriminating statements, guess who Trump invites to the White House.

You got it, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

It is an in your face gesture to Republicans from a Republican President.

How smart is that?

Republicans are in the midst of drafting a bipartisan sanctions bill targeting Turkey for its aggressive action against the Kurds, aggressive action caused by Trump's retreat. Some of the strongest Congressional critics have included some of Trump's closest congressional allies, including Senator Lindsey Graham, who has repeatedly warned Erdoğan about the repercussions of his actions and has drafted his own sweeping sanctions bill targeting the country.

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle called for Trump to rescind the White House invitation to Erdoğan entirely. The White House declined to do so.

How smart is that?

Pretty smart if Trump is acting like a Russian puppet whose sole purpose is to create havoc in the capital.

People should remember that when they get abusive and over-reach to satisfy their need for revenge, they set precedents- which can later be used against them.
Just imagine your own life if some person in power went after you, determined to bring you down by any means, willing to distort of create evidence, willing to use any pretense to invade your life and disrupt your ability to function. They would be taking you in for a body cavity search because some anonymous wimp implied that you must have evidence of some criminal plot stuffed up your hiney somewhere, and so it must be true and we must get to it.... And you are approving of the adaptation of that kind of abuse right now.

That is about the scope of the circus the dems have been running now since even before the election. You don't think that has damaged the democratic image?
Used to be democrats were people who agreed on the basic concepts of justice with republicans, but disagreed on economics. Now they think the concepts of justice should be flexible, and getting what they want in the end justifies anything it takes to get there. I can't imagine that an old school democrat has anything but disgust for the new democrats.

 

I’m completely bored by all of the impeachment news. What a gigantic waste of time, and everything is sooo predictable.

- The House Democrats will impeach on a purely partisan vote.
- The Senate will ignore the House Democrats.
- And as a consequence of the Democrats’ reckless, zombie-like obsession with destroying this president at any cost, they will succeed only in destroying the reputation of a former Democratic Vice President and current candidate for president.

Meanwhile, Congress will accomplish exactly zero for the American people.

 

The average voter never even heard of or cared about Burisma, Hunter Biden, Hunter’s salary, Joe’s involvement ... none of it, until the Democrats ....
