Wendy Davis Spent More Than $131,000 in Campaign Funds on Luxury Suites

Strange since in the growing list of threads attacking Davis the righties bring her up all the time to excuse their behavior towards Davis. I know you don't like people pointing out the hypocracy and false outrage of the right but you cannot play the victim for me doing so. Davis scares the heck out you righties, get used to it.

 

It never ceases to amaze how low the left will scrape to defend their own.

A woman is accused of abusing campaign funds and to the left, she's "helping the local economy".

Folks, I cannot make this stuff up.

 

Davis has become the left's version of Palin. The only difference being that Palin is nowhere near as despicable as Davis is. The left even tried to use Palin's conscious decision not to abort her unborn son against her, even after admitting to the world that the thought had occurred to her for a moment after Palin discovered that he was going to be born with Down's Syndrome, but decided to give birth to him anyway in order to give him a chance at life. Something that Wendy Davis stood up against for 11 hours in her pretty pink sneakers; she would rather have the wholesale slaughter of unborn babies instead of giving them a chance to live.

 

Ah but it's not her money. It's campaign money. There are laws regarding what she can do with it.

Frankly I don't see a problem with this kind of expense, wouldn't matter the political party either. This whole whack job story from Breitbart is what I expect from them. What a LYING headline! This is NOT a "luxury suite"! Even if it was, she deserves it more than most of the usual a--holes! At least she is not trying to pass laws to control MEN's or ANYONE'S bodies!

As I write this I am sitting in a $1700/month ONE BEDROOM apartment belonging to a friend in Los Angeles, and it is NOT in a nice complex or area (built about 1964). $3000/month is pretty standard rent. That tells us this lying hit piece was written for old ladies in Podunck to fan themselves over. Too bad Republicans do not realize that a LARGE number of those old ladies in Podunck are saying "YOU GO, GIRL!" after getting screwed financially by husbands, jobs, politicians etc.

In Texas boom areas, that kind of rent is normal for a standard place for a moderately successful attorney! GEEZ!

And "suckers" or not, her contributors are voluntarily writing the checks, so what is your sudden problem with a practice we can be sure 90% of her fellow MALE lawmakers do as well, regardless of their pasts? She is not claiming to be a trailer park mom NOW!

I can't count the number of men I have known and read about that was supported by a woman until he got his degrees or Doctorate or legal admission and then dumped her for a fresh young model, but those guys are praised and revered by Republicans everywhere.

Further, how many on the Right had a genetic sugar daddies and mommies who gave them a golden spoon through top schools and colleges and then plenty of connections and money for their own businesses, often they flop many until they finally manage to avoid disaster. Bush, Gingrich, Mccain so many have been praised as top picks by Republicans yet have had their sugar mommies and daddies right at hand!

The fact that this kind of criticism is put forward by the Republicans and the Right demonstrates like nothing else the ultimate sexism and hypocrisy and misogyny embedded deep in the Republican Party, through and through.

1) Who are you to judge what motivations a woman you don't even know may or may not have? Are you a woman? It would seem to me that Davis's husband willingly contributed to her further education in exchange for wifely services rendered in a marriage. Divorce is always a private matter and it is very flamebaiting/trolling of you to infer anything else

I suggest that you take a minute and read the rules, have a moderator explain them for you, and you will then know your limitations on the forum. I hope you are finally realizing that Wendy Davis will not be the governor of Texas because of her lying about her rags-to-riches story, her divorcing her sugar daddy husband only after he paid off her student loans, leaving her children like the deadbeat that she is, and advocating for the wholesale slaughter of unborn babies.

She had a hard enough time running for governor as a woman in Texas; do you honestly believe that Texans will want a woman with that much deadbeat baggage running the state from the governor's chair? I highly doubt it.
