This is not unique to America Romania Despite severe legislation and penalties for abortion prior to 1989 USA
That graph is not really an entirely fair comparison because economic freedoms rapidly increased after the fall of Ceausescu. Probably part of the reason for the drop in pregnancies was there were fewer government incentives for having children, so suddenly there were fewer women deciding to get pregnant. Or maybe an increased ratio of the women choosing to have children were those with more economic resources, who could afford better care.

Just because they may not have the best reasons for doing it doesn't mean it isn't happening and relatively common.
When you can’t answer make it up out of whole cloth There is a sipurprising amount of research on this topic https://www.researchgate.net/public...ence_from_Romania_South_Africa_and_Bangladesh Abortion laws reform may reduce maternal mortality: An ecological study in 162 countries https://www.researchgate.net/public...ortality_An_ecological_study_in_162_countries Role of birth spacing on maternal deaths https://www.researchgate.net/public...n_reducing_deaths_in_reducing_maternal_deaths Birth spacing often achieved by abortion
Isn't it better if the siblings are all around the same age? Or are you claiming it would be easier on the woman if she had a baby, and 13-year-old teenager, and a grown adult child?
I don't know, women risk life/health for all sorts of silly reasons. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/35780...ugs-in-bid-to-become-the-next-kim-kardashian/ https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/exmw7j/brazil-is-mourning-over-a-beauty-queens-rotting-ass-456 https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...ery-clinics-owned-man-killed-EIGHT-women.html
Why do you think that is ANY of your business?? What makes you think all women in all circumsances could handle mulitple babies at the same time while trying to do things like work and buy food and pay for healthcare?
I was just commenting that the idea of intentional birth spacing (via abortion) as a means to reduce maternal mortality seemed unrealistic and impractical. You'd advocate for elective twin reductions then? (instead of twins, abort one of them) So she wouldn't have to have two babies at the same time, and for the purpose of reducing maternal risk.
That explains why they perform an intrauterine injection to make sure the baby is dead before it comes out then.
We need to focus on the issues that make these abortions decisions more frequent. Why do women believe they need to choose abortion? If Canada can have half our abortion rate with NO LAWS, we should be able to discuss reducing the number of abortions, not fighting for government control of women's bodies.
Maybe non-white women are more hip and have more sex? https://www.thedailybeast.com/sex-who-has-the-most I'm just saying, I think there are some other factors at play.
Isn't it interesting the countries that the Left most wants to emulate? Look, it's fair game. If you you're going to point out "Things are so good in this country because...", then I should be able to point out some potential alternate explanations. You want to prove me wrong, you're going to have to dig up some demographic data on the U.S. and more specifically compare the demographic in the U.S. to that which better matches Canada.
Exactly. Your comment had NOTHING to do with data. It had to do with racism. And, you stand behind your claim!
We don't have to speculate. Here's a map: http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/mapstatesabrate.html More diverse states have higher rates of abortion, although it appears urbanization is also an independent factor.
Look, all I'm saying is that this quackery over how wonderful the U.S. would be if they only had the same laws as Canada is a bunch of baloney.

WTF does THAT MEAN ??? HOW is that related to the comment you responded to ??? BESIDES BEING AN EXTREMLY RACIST THING TO SAY. WTF does frequency of sex have to do with abortion rights? NOTHING[/QUOTE]
