We have the What are you listening to right now?-thread and the What's for dinner tonight?-thread, so why not add a What are you doing?-thread into that pile as well? :D

I guess it is very much obvious to everyone what this thread is about, so without any further ado, let's kick it off; Right now it is 3 AM and I am in bed looking for an interesting thread to post in when, really, I should be sleeping (much rebel, wow).

What are you doing right now?

Went to Starbucks and a bakery with my wife this morning. Took my cat to the vet for a vaccination a little later. Watched the NASCAR race (OK, I snoozed through some of it.), and kicked back and posted a reply to Kode, with whom I've had a long conversation. Ate pizza, and workin' on another Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond pale ale.

    Cheers!

That cat is impossibly cute and your desk is incredibly tidy. Beer looks good too. :)

Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Nighty.

** Why is it that every, and I mean every time I type 'fried' I then see that I've typed 'friend' instead? There, see what I mean - I just did it again! [IMG] 'Tis a puzzlement. [IMG]

About to start my gardening for the day. Just finishing a double shot latte, while talking to the dog about the importance of chewing on bones for good canine dental and mental health.

    Nice Felus Catus!

But I must comment ... Americans have the weirdest light switches. So oversized.

He's my buddy. He's very attentive, almost like a dog. Here he is keeping me company while I peruse PF.

I have a cat too, but I am not sure if he would be comfortable with me posting pictures of him online without his consent.

It's like the light switch equivalent of 'large print books' (for folk with poor vision). Or it's for people with Homer Simpson fingers.

    Almost, but not quite.

Nothing is like a dog. Except maybe goats.

I didn't think it ever rained in Oz! But stay, it's called 'the wet' isn't it. I know that because I watched We of the Never Never a few night's ago.

:roflol: I'm very far away from the Never Never and the wet is in summer (your winter)... but where I live it rains mostly in winter and spring... dry summers

Stating the obvious - reading/posting to this specific thread - is the only correct response to the question asked:

What are you doing right now?

    It's even bolded.

I think multitasking is probably fake news. Women may be faster at putting together sectional behaviour where one task seems to be occurring at the same time as another but I think human behaviour and action always conforms to linearity.

That's all bunk if the question is about existence and time itself, though, where many a fine mind will argue there is no time, it's a human intellectual construct, and everything is always happening in the exact same moment.

    Now.

To those the answer to the question is 'everything'.
