Also own a RRS S/C, which I converted myself with an Overfinch kit and a lot of customization:

If you do the Typhoon thing, I have an entire complete set of Typhoon cladding - in original unpainted plastic, and in great shape - for sale..

I drive a jacked up 1985 Chevy K5 (big-bloc) Blazer because it is the only thing that survives these mountains. I just don't like putting gas in the (*)(*)(*)(*) thing...lol :fart:

    Yes it's a 4 wheel drive.

Yes it pisses you environmentalists off.

It's all made in the US of A. (Well save for the replacement parts...)

    BORED?....What?

I never get bored of my car...and I don't think I ever will. How can you possibly get bored of a M3...?

Not really put something "new" together. I usually think of creative things to do with my 540i. Plus its high maintenance.

I used to have a motorcycle which was fun, but I realized it was really not safe.

Rovers are the least reliable cars sold on America, I should talk though-I used to drive Jags. My next car will probably be a Lincoln MKZ, sold my GMC and I'm down to a '68 VW, a '94 Cherokee and a 2010 Accent. The Jeep is in renovation phase.

Nice rig, I love off road stuff nearly as much as Harley's. I have a 92 ford explorer which is not an easy rig to make extreme 4x4 capable, but I have far too much money in it to sell or trade in. SOoooo...I am going for a locker diff rear only, a modest lift kit and some modest 33" swampers. Here in the south we have red clay mud, its like teflon quicksand. Maybe a set of headers. I already have the foundation for a killar sound system, a rockford Punch amp and a satt mp3 etc enabled deck...a little tasteful green neon and a hand painted art car (I am doing custom camo with a pin strip brush) .... maybe I can recoup my investment VIA enjoying the trails that criss cross these hills ....ahhhh 4 thous watts of George Jones Hi tech red neck indeed!

He's got thirteen channels of wrestling comin' in strong from a satellite feed~
A two hundred function remote control big screen plasma TV with stereo
Football baseball NASCAR too with picture in a picture it's all in view
And if it comes on just a little too late with his DeVo he'll get it on anything but tape~

    He's a high-tech redneck Mayberry meets Startrek
    He's a bumpkin' but he's plugged in he's a high-tech redneck
    [ fiddle ]

He's got twenty sub-woofers in the bed of his truck
Ten thousand watts of power and he keeps it cranked up
He ain't into hip hop he ain't into rap
He likes to rattle them speakers with Ronnie Milsap
CD iPod digital tape, CB radar and scannin' short wave
And if he needs to talk to his honey at home
He just dials up her number on his Android phone
    He's a high-tech redneck...
    He's a high-tech redneck...

Perhaps - but lots of Rover complaining is based on past reputation.

'course, I bought it because it's pure badass.

Oh yeah...you speak of NEW? I'll tell you what "New" thing I'd get!

I would go to BMW and buy a X6-M which has a 555hp V8 4.4L...then I'd take it over to my good folks to Dinan and have them put on high performance ceramic brakes, change my final drive ratios, get some carbon fiber in it...etc.

Then I'd take it to the folks at G-Power (just like Dinan are exclusive for BMW's I believe). At G-Power I'd have them do their SKIII mod where they take out my V8...trash it...then drop in a 5.0L V10 and Supercharge it for 900hp. Get me an aerodynamic kit, change the 6-speed standard manual to a 7-speed or 8-speed sequential manual. And thats the fastest SUV on earth by a pretty far margin.

    http://www.g-power.com/index.php?id=1103

    ^Thats it.

And that would be my SUV.

Then for my regular driving, I'd want a nice Sexy Sedan...like a 760Li...in which case I'd buy that and take it the good folks at G-Power and make a 760i storm with 750hp.

    http://www.g-power.de/index.php?id=1046&L=0&carid=27000

Then for racing...I'd get an M3 E90, and get it to 720hp, a nice paint job, front and rear spoiler, slicks, aerodynamic kit...etc.

Thats my dream garage...just three cars.

Yes, I agree, the new Rover is a 16' extension of the owners penis. A whole forest of old growth trees on the dash and an entire herd of cattle on the seats, throw in the supercharger and it eats up the other SUV's like so much cannon fodder. That being said, I don't believe it to be 40K better than a Grand Cherokee, but it is better. I used to have a 1969 Rover 2000, cost me $500 just to have the calipers rebuilt. A very rare car but unique. Anybody can rebuild an old American car, only a complete masochist would renovate a Brit car, and I've done several.

    Forget a Rover...I'll take a new Grand Cherokee SRT8.

    Or a Porsche Cayenne turbo.

Me I would settle for another new Ford Focus with all of the bells and whistles.

I bought this one 7 years ago and I love it. great mileage and easy to drive.
