What DON’T you believe?

Think about your philosophy. Whether you subscribe mainly to a political philosophy, religious philosophy, secular philosophy etc what is it that you don’t believe about that philosophy?

For example, if you are a Liberal, what part of the Liberal philosophy that is normally attached to Liberalism do you disagree with? Are you a person who believes in socialized health care but you disagree with a woman having the freedom to choose? If you are a Republican, do you agree with trickle down economics but you disagree with the common party stance on homosexuality and marriage? If you are a Christian do you agree that Jesus died for your sins but you believe it is ok to eat shellfish?

What don’t you believe about the philosophy of the tribe you identify with?

 

I don't believe in the No nukes attitude. I agree with it on Fission but think that Fusion is the future. I am against anti-science from either side.

I hate, despise, detest, loathe, abhor and execrate country music. Except for Taylor Swift (with the sound off)

I don't believe in the United States of America anymore.

 

I'm not really much of an ideologue, but I do try to adhere to stoicism, however, one can be too stoic and have it work against one's best interests.

 

I'm a moderate myself. I believe there should be the option of socialized healthcare along with private options. I believe in the woman's freedom to choose but not in the third trimester. I don't believe in trickle down economics or plundering the rich. I believe in trans rights but they shouldn't compete in female sports. I believe we need much better border security, but also a pathway to citizenship for illegals, and greatly increased immigration for high skill immigrants.

 

We moderates need to exist in order to temper the excesses of the extremist factions.

 

No. Read what I wrote again. I am very certain about what others do not know about the meaning of life.

That still sounds like you have a sense of certainty about at least that one aspect about the Meaning of Life otherwise you couldn’t know what other people don’t know. Ya know?

 

I don't need to know what the meaning of life is or if there is one at all in order to realize that IF THERE IS A CREATOR IN ALL OF THAT POWER AND WISDOM he/she/it didn't write the bible.

One of the only ideas that I do not believe in is the idea that our Creator ever really gives up on us repenting and being restored......
I am biased though by the wording in Leviticus chapter sixteen verse ten where it appears that Moses may have been given a
prediction about one of the leading "Satan's" eventually being restored to faith and obedience to the G-d of Abraham.

Bingo! I believe in the dream and the Blue States. But red states are now the enemy. They would put a dictator in power tomorrow if they could. We have fought wars to defeat what they now represent.

 

That happens to me sometimes. The car dealership replaced my infotainment panel and wanted to charge us $2000 for it and I was like, “oh well, Amor Fati,” but my wife was like “eff that!” And twenty minutes later they did the entire job for free.
