Unfortunately America will never get rid of that festering crap hole. In their latest referendum, only 1.5% of the population voted for independence from the United States. Very depressing.

I think they should shed the country that colonized them. They should take some pride in themselves and make it by themselves. I would not be opposed to America giving Puerto Rico a few hundred billion dollars to become independent, it would be money well spent.

If we bought Greenland, perhaps that could be utilized in the Libs move in ironing out a pathway to citizenship. All illegals not deported outright would be shipped off to Greenland to await their court hearings / processing. After a few years of exemplary behavior & productivity they could meritoriously earn the right to finance their return to North America US.

    - I'm sure far fewer illegals would enter the US, lol...
    - Opening up energy resources & raw material recovery would demand quite a voluntary labor force.
    - There would be a revolving door policy of deportation from Greenland for miscreants, & lazy ass bums

One big beef is the thousands of liberal elite who have moved there so they don't have to pay any federal income tax. If I had the power I would have these traitors imprisoned and their wealth stripped. The federal tax revenues lost due to the existence of Puerto Rico far outstrip any benefit that could be gained. The fact that the elite need it to avoid paying their fair share will prevent it from ever becoming independent. Funny how liberals always fall on the side of the 0.01% while pretending to stand up for the bottom 90%, what a farce.

It is very telling that the liberal elite are very aware that they have ruined the world. Here is what one POS had to say:

America doesn't have to buy the Moon. We already planted our flag on it, it's ours. We will sell the mineral rights as we see fit. We will allow others to visit, but it's ours.

    It's done. Move on.

People in colder climates must be more responsible and plan ahead for the cold winter that's coming. People in warmer climates have no such concerns and that's often reflected in their cultures.

Yes, and it has been from the get-go. Why?

Because there is insufficient social-investment - namely in education. Which is why most try to make it into the US proper.

And yet, Puerto Rico (Rich Port, in English) has enough to make itself a playing-ground for rich Americans.

Which it seems unable to attract ...

When Donald Dork first met Putin face-to-face in Helsinki, why did he ask everybody to leave the room for ten minutes.

He wanted to be assured that Putin would no release the tape. Putin has him by the short-'n-curlies.

Like it or not, that is No Way to Do Business with the Russkies nowadays.

    Even simpletons know that ...
