It looks like a bunch of "waffle"?...How so?

You have a lot of opinions for someone that is admittedly ignorant of what takes place here. If you are going to play the "I am ignorant, please teach me" card, it is probably best to keep your insults to yourself. It starts to look like this is nothing other than a game where you planned to insult our country all along. You arent looking for knowledge, you were merely seeking an entry into hurling insults. That much is becoming crystal clear.

Shame on me for believing you were sincere.

Good, as I said forgive my ignorance. Its born from reading posts on here which rarely discuss any differences between policies, whereas on my British politcs forums its all about changes proposed or made.

I am sincere, I apologise is my questions appear abrasive. I'm happy to stop if I'm annoying you as that is not my intent.

I guess we would need to identify what those changes would be. We don't see anyone swinging for the fences in order to make real or lasting change.

Think your observation is an astute one
Exactly ... Both Red and Blue .. stink like @#$# -- its a one party system for all the purposes that matter -- Presidents are Selected . not Elected. Both sides work to maintain the status quo .. but fight with each other over hot button issues --- the outcome of which matters not to the those pulling the strings.

What about them .. Blue Enviro Policy - "Not in My back Yard - Dump it in the Ocean" - Maintain status Quo in terms of increasing rate of CO2 and Ocean Pollution.

Red Policy -- "Maintain Status Quo"

It isn't 100% correlated, but the experience points to major differences between Democrat governments and Republican governments. (Though except for Reagan and Trump the differences are not as obvious at the federal level as they are at the state and local level.) It was Democrats that handled the COVID pandemic significantly worse, notably in Ill, NY, and CA. They handled the pandemic itself extremely poorly and along with a number of other Democrat led states like Mich. were disastrous with their ineffectual close downs and lock outs. It was predominately Democrat governors and mayors that went along with if not condoned and even abetted, the disastrous riots of 2020. It was Democrat run states that had all of the 2020 election shenanigans, except for GA and AZ who had Republican governors, but they were near never Trumpers. The worst run cities with the worst crime rates, like D.C., Detroit, NYC, Chicago, Baltimore, et al have been long time run by Democrats. CA, while still the top state economy is worsening its economy faster than any other state as a result of Democrat governors and legislature. All of the businesses and people fleeing/moving are near universally leaving Democrat run states, like CA, NY, NJ, Ill, and cities for Republican states, like TX and FLA, and cities. There are much more examples but I don't want to get too far into the weeds.
