What will happen to the white racists when the GOP nominates a minority for President

North africans and Middle Easterners who have native origins are included in the white category. White isn't exclusive to european. I am talking about the official definition, not about how you feel.

Yes, however their race (if one believes in race, in the anthropological use of the word) is still negroid and veddoid. They just have a genetic disorder which can be compared to Michael Jackson's vitilgo. Their skull structure and genetics are very different than that of whites. Whites themselves are divided into sub-races, like armenoid, alpine, atlanid, dinaric, orientalid, etc. however even though cranial shapes are diverse among these groups they are still too similar to be considered as separate races.

Native Australians belong to their own non-white racial group as well. A group like the romani/gypsies would be considered caucasoid, because their ancestors were from northern india. Souther indians are typically veddoid. Some Iraqi arabs have veddoid ancestry as do many othere residents of gulf arab states. Some Iraqis are even mixed with mongoloid. Turkmen make up a minority in iraq for instance and are mixed caucasoid (white) and mongoloid, as are many turkic populations. Some are almost entirely mongoloid, like those of Kazakhstan, Kyrgzstan, Uzbekistan (excluding the jews of bukhara who are persian jews essentially).

GOP has a BIG problem with its "Southern Strategy" voters. Even a Latino candidate can't win their Nomination (Cruz, Rubio, whoever) because Latino voters know he will have to be a "Kick 'em all out, build machine gun nests on the Border" panderer to the Nativists during the GOP Primaries...and then try a "Yo es un amigo" to them during the Fall Election....and they won't buy it.

As for an African-American candidate.....it'll take 20-25 years before the GOP nominates one even for Veep. The Good Ol' Boys in the GOP base need to die off first.

Regardless of your party, I don't like to see politicians pandering to any "-Americans". 1) We're all Americans so I don't want to see someone trying to get the "Latino vote" or the "black vote" or "white vote." 2) If you have to pander to get votes that means a) you're platform is weak, b) you're not putting out the information, or c) you're wasting your time with low information voters.

 

1. The GOP has been pandering to "Racist White-Americans" for 40 years. When Nixon and later Reagan and Lee Atwater refined the "Southern Strategy" to get Southern white Wallace voters to start voting for the "new and improved" GOP that eschewed its Eisenhower support for civil rights. And incorporated guys like Strom Thurmond, Trent Lott, and Jesse Helms into the Party.

But that's what this is about. People like you take a minority of racist, and use it as broad brush strokes. If the right knew they had a chance to put somebody like Brian Sandoval or Tim Scott( a black republican who beat the son of segregationist Strom Thurmond in South Carolina)
in the white house they would. But, we all know that still wouldn't be good enough for you.

Racial politics all started because of the GOP when they saw an opportunity to build themselves a permanent voting bloc of racist white voters in the south.

 

Really? Are you going to overlook the Democrats and their racist history?

 

White Conservatives is not the same as "White Racists". And, I believe the GOP will nominate the Candidate they believe is best for the Country regardless of race. Many Republicans voted for Obama for the simple reason that he was Black. And, even those that didn't vote for him had a sense of pride that we elected our first black President, representing our lack of racism. Many didn't vote for him because of his lack of experience and difference of political views. This is nothing new.

Racism isn't exclusive to Whites. The views of identifiable racists are mostly overlooked by intelligent individuals. It is only the Progressive Left that continues to bring up this subject. Not because they actually care, but to attack libertarians, moderates and Republicans.

It is sad that they have to resort to these measures.

I would love to hear their thoughts on the subject, substantive thoughts.
