If we are alone, we will have to depend on American made and assembled products, with no competition to keep the pricing under control. The costs to produce will skyrocket and so will your costs. Americans will be unable to afford many products, which will mean layoffs in industry. Just common sense. The national debt will continue to rise and so will your taxes to pay for it.

How do you propose to stop China?

It has four times as many people, they are smart, hardworking, long suffering and ethnically homogeneous.

The dumbed down, lazy, entitled and diverse America doesn't stand a chance.

Even more reason not to relinquish our leadership position in NATO.

I am hardly a Hillary supporter. And she is one hell of a lot better at governing than Trump. If the Republicans had presented a candidate worth voting for, I would have voted for him or her. Trump showed me his true colors when he went into the debates totally unprepared to discuss the issues and instead spent his time and wasted my time by personally attacking his opponents. A loser.

I agree with asking our NATO allies to pay more.

"But, just as we see that one region in America doesn't hold the same values as another, the same will be true of the rest of the world compared to America"

That's true, I'm not talking about Americanizing the world. As a leader we don't have to do that.

Since the working class is now living on reduced income thanks to the loss of good jobs in manufacturing the will soon be as poor as the chinese who replaced them

Which is what globalism is for American workers

    A race to the bottom

Apples and oranges. If you don't understand that you don't knock our intelligence in front of an enemy, on the international stage, I don't know what to tell you. That isn't thinking of America first.

Jobs were lost because the high cost of labor and benefits forced manufacturing to leave for survival since they could no longer be competitive in the marketplace, or close down the plants in our country.

The guy is a phony and wants the intelligence agencies to always be loyal to him, the facts be damned. Trump doesn't accept the fact that our intelligence agencies work for and are loyal to the American people, even though they are his appointees.

The reason we were successful is because we produced the best products at the cheapest price. That is no longer the case.

Depends on which side of the fence you are on? want to know how Americans viewed both candidates. One can do that with their favorable/unfavorable ratings on election day.

Hillary Clinton Question 10 in the line below
    Democrats 85% favorable, 15 % unfavorable
    Republicans 7% favorable, 92% unfavorable
Independents, the non-affiliated, less partisan, 27% favorable, 70% unfavorable

compare those numbers, those views to Donald Trump, Question 11.
    Democrats 7% favorable, 92% unfavorable
    Republicans 75% favorable, 24% unfavorable
Independents, the non-affiliated, less partisan, 40% favorable, 57% unfavorable

You can see, more Republicans viewed Trump unfavorably than Democrats did Hillary Clinton. Now those are your partisans. You can easily see by looking at the numbers, it all depends on which candidate you supported whether defending that statement was an impossibility.

Bottom line, for democrats, Trump was evil. For Republicans, Hillary Clinton was evil. For independents, the non-affiliated which 54% of all independents disliked both candidates and didn't want neither one to become their next president. Trump was the lesser evil to them, judging that statement by the 57-70 margin in the unfavorable column.

We could still do that now

Only it would be the best products produced by American workers receiving a living wage

You want the bottom half of America living like chinese slaves just so you can have a slightly cheaper iPhone

Really? How is NATO going to save us from the Chinese?

    I propose a US/Russia alliance against China.
